String tension and launch angle

#1
I was reading in the "Jolly looking for a new string thread" at which it was mentioned that lower string tensions produce a higher launch angle. is that to say, that with the exact same swing, grip, etc etc *all things equal* that a ball hit with a racquet strung at 65 will be lower to the net (just a reference point for example) than a racquet strung at 55?

yes assuming both racquets are moving low to high with vertical racquet face

with a lower tension, you need to close the racquet face more. that is all.

I'm finding that my racquet with Gut mains is also launching the ball higher that either a multi or poly with the same crosses. Once I get dialed in with the gut, if I switch to one of the other racquets I hit everythign in the net.

Not sure the reason for this, other than maybe the gut transfers more energy to the ball in the vertical direction?

Dwell time on the string bed being ever so slightly longer is my guess.
