Dunlop Muscle Weave 200G 95 w/ new Tecnifibre Multifeel 17 @ 56 CP:
This was a good combination. Not as much pocketing or as soft as the old Multifeel. Also, It had been sitting in my bag for about two months so it was nicely settled in. It's a very balanced string. It was very predictable on serve and for groundstrokes, without being bland. As my spin skills come back for this season, I'll be able to give better reports.
Dunlop Aerogel 200 w/ Dunlop Hexy Fiber 16 @56 CP :
I really needed to dial down on the tension by two more lbs. to make this string sing. It's low powered, but still did everything well, with the exception of playability. It was even comfortable enough at too high a tension. I'll definitely try it again @54. Until then, I'll keep working on this string bed to see if I can break it in, in a reasonable amount of time.
Head LM Radical OS w/ Wilson NXT Control 16 @58/59 CP:
I strung this up about two months ago as well. This string does everything well, including spin even though I'm rusty. It's a multifilament that combines regular nylon and polyester filaments. It plays well, but I don't like it. It's quite bland. I'd like to put my usual setup in that racquet now (Cyberflash 1.20/old Multifeel 16 @57/60), but I can't justify cutting out the NXT Control. And it's not my primary racquet anyway.
I've noticed that my reviews lack some substance. Sorry about that. It should improve as the season progresses. Please feel free to ask me questions or share your experiences with these strings.
