    Hey guys,

I have the silent partner e.stringer. it just has the clamps to hold it down that I screw on. Sometimes the frames slide. I was thinking of maybe getting a cheap gamma with a dropweight with flying clamps but with a good mounting system. What do you guys think?

Weird, that should not happen. Have you adjusted the length of the mount to just in contact at the head and tail of the racquet before screwing in the lock?

If you got an older version of the e.Stringer, it will come with mounting posts that attach and secure themselves to the square bar using smaller turn knobs that are NOT on the bottom of each post.

This is a known issue, and you should contact SP about what they can do to help you out.

The knobs should be UNDER each mounting post, and be about twice as large as the ones provided on the earlier models.

The eStringer shown at is the older model - you can clearly see the knob on the side of the left mounting post.

If you download the user manual at it will show you a new version of the e.Stringer with the mounting posts utilizing the "Large Securing" knobs.
