Stringing for Tension Loss?

I had a quick question to anyone well versed in multis loosing tension after the first few days on them.

If you like a string at about say 52 or 54 for the first day or so with a multi like nxt or something. But then it drops off and becomes a trampoline and unplayable what should you string at to accommodate that tension loss so that it will stay playable at say 54.

Would you string 2-3 lbs. tighter or more to counteract this, I think stringing too much tighter you would lose the characteristics of the lower tension but not enough and it will still play like crap while it has a long ways to go before breaking.

I feel you. Pre-stretch. It works, as long as your stringer is consistent. I think it really does take away much of that initial tension loss. I mean, it's still gonna lose tension overnight before you even hit a ball with it, but the pre-stretch seems to mitigate that mushy feeling, at least at first (which is critical, since it is a multi and you'll break it soon anyway).
