stringing machines

I'm going to buy a stringing machine, but I don't know anything or much about them. I need some recommendations. I need a cheap machine, but a one that does the job smoothly. I'm not talking about those cheap portable ones- something better than that. Do the stringing machines come with videotapes or something that teaches you how to string racquets?

ibemadskillzz, most of the stringing instructions that come with machines are pretty lame. As David said, you can get an idea of how to do it at sptennis.com. The best material is available from the USRSA. They have video and an interactive CD that are very good. On your choice of stringing machine, what price range are you looking at? Avoid Eagnas for starters. Other than that price pretty much dictates what you're going to get as far as quality and service. You really can't go wrong with Alpha, Gamma or Laserfibre. Of course, if you want to spend more money, Prince/Ektelon make good machines as do Technifibre and Babolat(for lots of bucks).
