I plan on gathering the strings, tension, and pattern of pro players who use iterations of frames descended from the Wilson 6.1 Classic 95. Feel free to point me to any I that are missing or have changed over time.

I'd also like to gather RDC specs of the same players, though it is less likely to be as complete a list.

Watching Evans and Sousa duke it out right now. Anyone know Evans tension with Lux/Sensation in the 6.1?

Not sure of the tension, but one of the pro stringers on here said he uses gut in the crosses now, I think.

I think it was poly/gut evo uses. I’ll try and find it this evening. I need to experiment more with gut/poly too.

Wondering if if that might be my best bet. Full poly at 47-48 feels stiff and lacks power. Poly/Sensation feels dead when I generate a good bit of racquet head speed hitting a ball with a lot of pace coming at me. Poly/gut is the hybrid I see most often with the 18x20 frames.

He’s using Artengo now, with a hybrid of RS Lyon / RS Paris I think. I’m sure Skipp can confirm or not

In the 6.1 18x20 at 45/45 the poly/sensation still feels stiff and really low launch angle. Talked to a pro stringer and he said drop the Sensation crosses two lbs and it will play with more spin/more string slide and higher laugh angle. Take some stiffness out as well. Edmond is doing this with the 18x20. Going to switch the 16g crosses out and use 17g 46/44. Worth a try.
