Strings moving alone?

When i'm not hitting during a game, i hear like "crack crack" coming from my strings, it's not a lot, just one or two from time to time. This been happening from the last 2 weeks. Its a LM4 with PSGD 16, perhaps they are about to break? Been playing with them for about 10 hours.

Dancraig is almost certainly right. It's pretty normal to hear the strings snapping back into place, especially once they're notched. The fact that they're notching means they're closer to breaking than when they were done, but without knowing your game or the string and other factors, there's no way to tell how close. Often they can last quite a while longer if the notched strings aren't unusually stressed.

Before they break there is a period of time were the strings are almost dead, isnt it?

I try to hit with spin, in fact, in the strings there are lots of yellow ball threads, don't know if that means anything.

Sounds like your strings are about to break.

Best to get your racket restrung if you only have 1.

Yes, it's my main racket, the other i have is a crappy one. I'll see if it holds a couple of extra hours for the weekend and will get it restrung.

Thanks!!
