Strings similar to Hurricane Tour

Hi everyone!
This is my first post here on TW.
I'm actually using a FXP Radical Tour, and I have just tried Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour 16.
It was the first time I have played with that and I had a good feeling, but I have some troubles.
I played very well the first 6\7 hours, very nice spin and not a bad feeling for beeing a poly string.
But then, the last 4\5 hours they felt like dead, and I broke (11\12 hours of life).
I am a baseliner (I use to play on clay), and I play with a lot of spin with my forehand; I have a flat (or slighly in top spin) two hand backhand.

My question is... can you suggest me another poly string similar to PHT but with a longer life in the same price range (Luxilon are too expensive IMO)?

I was thinking about Kirschbaum P2 Red Label (I have found it in my local shop here in Italy)... what do you think?

Any suggestion about other strings?

Thanks!

I liked Kirschbaum Competition better than P2 and the Competition is the longest lasting poly I've tried considering it held tension longer and took a long time to break as well. I typically won't play it all the way to breaking because after 25-30 hours it starts to play noticeably different. Most other polys I've tried start playing poorly or break well before that time.

Do Kirschbaum Competition and P2 last more than BHT? Have you tried BHT so you can compare them?

I have not tried Pro Hurricane Tour. I had tried Pro Hurricane in the past and thought it was too powerful and didn't have much feel to it. I didn't even look at the Pro Hurricane Tour as it's supposedly more powerful than Pro Hurricane.

Try Topspin Cyber Flash 1.25 (17 gauge). Excellent poly at a great price. Only 7.49 per set but even cheaper with the reel. You actually get 722 feet for only 67.90. Most people can get at least 20 stringings from 722 feet so that comes out to less than 4 bucks per stringing. I can get 22 stringings out of the 722ft reel because I use single piece stringing with a small racquet (90 sq inch).

As for performance I haven't used Babolat Hurricane but I have tried Luxilon Alu Power and Ti-Mo. Topspin Cyber Flash 1.25 is similar in feel and performance to the Luxilons. Check out this great site for string reviews and ratings by other players.

I used the search under the strings database, using overall ratings and you should see Cyber Flash with almost as good an average overall rating as Babolat Hurricane Tour with a much better Price to Performance Ratio. And that ratio was arrived at using the set price so the ratio would be much better at a cost under 4 bucks per stringing if you buy the reel. 12 bucks for Babolat Hurricane Tour per set, not much savings if you get the reel vs under 4 bucks per stringing for the Topspin Cyber Flash 1.25 reel while getting nearly the same performance.

I used to use Tecnifibre Spinfire 17 which is another good poly but found that Cyber Flash is even better. Good durability for a 17 gauge, good power, above average control and feel, excellent spin, good tension maintenance. All for a great price.

Here's the link to TW's page for the Topspin CyberFlash 1.25 722ft reel.

It would be great if I could buy from TW, but you know, buying from Italy is quite expensive if you consider shipping+vat+customs taxes.
Nice answer anyway, Topspin seems to be good strings, thanks jaisrh.
I have never seen them here in local shops, I will look for them.
What I'd like to do is to buy 3\4 reels (12m) of new strings so I can demo them, then decides which is better to me and buy a 220m reel...

Kirschbaum Competition and Cyber Flash Topspin are in the list right now.

Other suggestions?
