Strining Questin

So I just bought my first reel of string, and I would like this to last me as long as possible. So I am wondering what is the least amont of string I can use per job. I have a Wilson Pro Staff Tour 90 (16 x 19 pattern) and I use one piece. I usually use about 10'9 for the short side, but I am not sure what I can get away with for the rest of the racket. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Use 38' on the first one to be safe. Then measure how much is left over and you will know for future stringings exactly how much you will need.

Go ahead and thread all of your mains on the short side and leave just enough to finish the shortside. After you've pulled tension on the mains you only need only about 17-19' depending on the frame-

I have a drop weight string machine and I use 19 foot for main and 16.5 foot for cross for polyester string. If I use one piece, I can save a foot or more. When I string synthetic gut, I use18 foot for main and 15.5 foot for cross since it's a bit more strechy. To be safe, you need to measure enough for the first time to find out how much less you need.
