The sunhats that resemble the French Foreign Legion hats, they really seem effective and convenient compared to sunscreen lotion.

They are worn more in some areas than others. Maybe their popularity is increasing?

( Looking cool. Once I played tennis on a clay court that had not been watered for some time. A few years ago I discovered that I have asthma. Because of the excessive court dust I wore a dust mask for my doubles match. )

I'd like to have the flap detach from the hat. Only because I sweat so much, I ruin my hats pretty quick. If I could buy the flap separate and then keep it to transfer to my new hat, I would like that. I guess it would have to have a round opening to go around the head (and hat).

As one who has already had a skin cancer tumor removed (never ignore your dentist telling you to get an ulcer looking spot looked at!), I like to keep the sun off my face and neck. So the hat needs to remain facing forward, but need that flap for my neck.
