Supination timing during serve

What is the sequence of supination during serve?
1) Do you start supinating as you are dropping the racquet into backscratch, or do you wait till you are about to bring your racquet up out of backscratch?
2) Following supination, are you supposed to start pronating immediately afterwards out of supination, or wait till the arm and racquet are raised to the usual "L-position", and then start pronating out of the supinated position?

Thanks

I would not force supination, or pronation.
Worry less about supination..doesn't matter how you preload.
But DO pronate so your shoulder twists the arm into full pronation on the UPWARD stroke of your swing.

Bad simili yere...
tennis serve is nothing like a baseball pitch...
The racket does the supination, and relaxing the hand, does the pronation with a tiny bit of help from the twisting motion of the shoulder.

Do not think 'back scratch'. Racquet drops more to the right side of the real back. Supination should happen passively as the elbow is lifting.
