I do intervals for cardio. Lately, I have gravitated to jumping rope. My intervals consists of high knees, single leg, skiers, and lateral. I think maybe when I do high knees I am not landing softly.
I have tried outside and also on a couple surfaces inside. And feel pain, in my left legs.
I have an orthotic.
I was curious what the best type of running shoe would be as well as surface would be. Intervals are the part of my workout routine I get most joy from doing, but it's also the part that I do least due to concerns of my feet.
I don't have a good interval workout for the rowing machine which I would imagine would take care of doing intervals. Cause sometimes I only do one a week and feel that I am losing some aspect of conditioning. I have a trainer to force you me to lift weights because I am not a huge fan of it. I don't know if some form of Tabata would substitute. Currently, I only have plans for jump rope and treadmill.
Thanks.
