surge vs pure drive

wilson states the surge is 100 sq in head size.... thats impossible, if the pure drive and surge come from virtually the same mold and the pure drive is 100 sq in. then the surge must me less than that due to the decreased surface area from the PWS bumps....

btw,,,, i am playing with the original pure drive without the woofers and with bumper strips at 3 and 9 and it makes it a much better racquet with the extra weight at the 3 and 9.

the surge might be a better racquet than the pure drive due to the PWS bumps on the surge. i might have to get a surge

Tried them both didn't notice the extra effect of the pws bumps.

IMHO, the nPro Open is a MUCH better racquet than the Surge.
