I am looking at rackets across a range, let's take the Pure Strike, and am thoroughly confused over the SW and Balance of each.
For example, Pure Strike 100 comes in Lite, Team and Regular, but let's just look at Team and Regular (all strung specs below)
Team: SW 309, weight 303 and 1pt HL
Regular: SW 319, weight 315, 4 pt HL
The TW tool says that to drop a 1 pt HL, I need to add 6g to the buttcap, so if I took the team version, and added 12g, it would weight 315g like the Regular, however, it would now be:
Team (buttweight); SW 309 (since weight in butt), weight 315, 3ptHL
Regular: SW 319, weight 315, 4pt HL
So what's the trick here, how can they drop the balance sharply AND increase the SW while keeping the overall weight only slightly higher? Is regular much more polarised than Team?
