No I said that parts are readily available and definitely more serviceable than say a BYD that hardly has any dealer support and is unproven brand in Australia,

Old cars are cool but niche. Not the sort of things blue-collar types go for either. Classic cars are for elitists like yourself despite the low initial purchase price.

That’s not correct - there is a huge following of classic cars that blue collar types idolise, I just picked Swedish cars because they are attainable for young people, they are hip and cool, and they are relatively safe compared to many other brands around. The Swedish classics along with French classics are cheaper to buy then Aussie bogan cars which have gone up considerably.

Who would have thought that they have gone so far off course. However when you push so hard and so quickly and overtly then the truth rises.

Let's face it, there is no one and nobody in the "future renaissance" that you can name. Perhaps they haven't been born yet they're that far into the future! You have a long wait.

If you get a chance, are you able to watch the video I just posted? I really like that creamy green colour of the Volvo 164. The scenery was very nice and the content creator is very knowledgeable about the marque. I wouldn’t mind either a 142 coupe or 164 sedan as they are attainable, where’s the P1800 would be a more expensive purchase.
As far as more modern options I really like those blue S60 Polestar AWD

My dad owned a Volvo C70 but got tired of always paying to fix things. It also had curiously poor ergonomic engineering. He’s gone Japanese ever since.

Yes good point, by the time the C70 was released Volvo became more like Ford. It’s the old ones from the 70’s and 80’s and 60’s that are better.
