Swiatek swinging T Fight ISO 300

Recently saw pictures and videos from the World Tennis League and you can clearly see Iga is using the T Fight ISO 300 and not her signature Tempo 298 (white bumper and 300 on the inside of the hoop).

Still unclear if this is an actual switch or if Tecnifbre has decided to phase out the Tempo and just give her a paint job to promote the T Fight line. Regardless, there is not much difference between the two frames besides half a millimeter of thickness and 2 grams. The ISO is slightly less stiff, but all of these factors equal a pretty similar hitting experience. Another thing to note - the T Fight 295 has very similar specs to her old Prince, so if she is testing new frames within the T Fight line that could be one that feels familiar for her.

Well spotted, let's wait for the racquet geeks to confirm the switch or Pj

Maybe men didn't buy the Tempo racquet thinking it was a girl's stick. So Tecnifibre wanted to give her a "unisex" racquet...
If that’s the case, Tecnifibre only has itself to blame. The Tempo/Rebound has been marketed as a “woman’s” racquet. Even going as far as having Iga complimenting the “girly” colors in some of the promotional videos. Always seemed silly to me anyway considering the racquet has the feel of a pro stock

Interesting.
I read it’s really not much update/difference from her 298 tempo.

It also could mean TF didn’t sell much of that line as well and just a paint job for her to endorse the 300.

Women usually are less obsessed with racquets than men.
Even though Świątek would probably bagel most rec players you basically had a female signature racquet used by, like, 2 WTA players...
Since it's not cheap and women don't seem to care as much your chances of selling it aren't great.

If she endorses a standard T-Fight model she will be among ATP players and this will eliminate the "chick stick" label.
Tecnifibre doesn't seem to learn from its history - Gisela Dulko also sported a frame dedicated for women.

Imo the problem is, lots of men wouldnt buy a racket endorsed (only) by a woman.
The other way around, it doesn't seem to be a problem.

Hard to tell for sure, but it does look like the same racquet with a 300 ISO paint job. Either way, those racquets are very similar.

I had the prior versions of the tempo 298 and tfight RS 300. The string spacing was identical between the two frames because they both used the same replacement grommet sets.

Same racquet, Tfight paintjob...

Tempo Iga is going to quietly drift into the darkness of night...

(BTW: Its always been a TFight 300)
I was wondering if there was actually difference. Guessing she just didn’t have the star power to sell a signature frame ala Federer or Rafa

I did try tempo and RS300. T-rebound was the best, then tempo, then RS havent tried the ISO 300. Similar but different… could be Quality control though.

Is it just me or are brands like Technifibre and Le Coq Sortif a bit held back by their devotion to the tricolore? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for patriotism but in terms of colour schemes and their general designs I don't find them particularly appealing being based on/tied to a flag for instance. It's like if Wilson used red, white and stars on a lot of their designs, I just think it would be a turn off.

100%. Which is why it was a shame the Tempo was killed off because that blue color looked great on a white frame

With it being an Olympic year it would be cool if they gave Swiatek a white and red stick or something, maybe play off their use of the tricolore - she's achieved enough for a signature stick with a signature PJ just like Osaka has. I know Medvedev speaks French but also the Russian flag colours are the same as the French flag so he probably likes that coincidence.

Same racquet, Tfight paintjob...

sorry if I misunderstand you, what is the actual racket she is playing right now? same racket? so tempo 298 with tfight 300 pj? or actual tfight 300?

no way, when did you found out? I thought we were thinking it was a real tempo 298 for so long right?

As I understand, the Tempo 298 is actually a TFight Dynacore 300 reboot. This is why many say it feels like a pro stock. Its an awesome racquet worth stocking up on.

The new Iso 300 feels similar though, a bit stiffer maybe, bit more power.

How did you come to this conclusion?

The Tfight ISO 300 is listed as 66, the IGA as 71 RA. Does the former feel stiffer to you?

I'm covertly stocking up on all the Iga 298Tempo's I can get. They are on discounts all over the place . It's a Prostock racquet with gloss paint job, and RA 71, at these prices is a bargain

What do you love most about this racquet? What's its playability? What do you string with/at?

What do you guys think of the TFight 295 as a substitute to Iga her old prince? strung it would be: 312w, 33.5b, 324sw with 16x19 100 inch, 23 mm beam. Its not far off her prince specs: 305, 33.4, 324.

TFight Dynacore 300

(Its always been)
very true. I recently purchased a T-Rebound version and have a pair of the 2015 Dynacore 315 as well so I had the chance to compare and these are the exact same racquets, the grommets are identical as well. it is funny, isn’t it? there are a few battle tested molds for each brand that are circulating among the pro players.

We don't know her new specs, but can we conclude from the video with Dieter Calle that she did lower her swingweight from 299(unstrung), which it was before?

The font and signature on the side looks exactly like the tempo 298 as well as the tecnilab logo inside the throat. Plus the 6:00 shape of the hoop in that it slims down or narrows is the same as the tempo 298. My guess she is still using the tempo 298 with a tfight paintjob.
But she was never actually using a Tempo 298?

It was Tempo mould but lighter and customized later. I think it is still the same racket, just like for Mertens and Collins.

do you prefer this racquet (the dynacore) over the 2022 t-fight iso?

Really? I had read that she was in fact using the tempo 298.
The t-rebound 298 and Tempo 298 are the same frame as the Dynacore T-fight 98, minus different paint and weighted 298.

Iga was brought on to TF using that mold, so moving her to the T-fight Paint is easy because, the racket was always a T-fight.

The t-rebound/tempo was just a “signature” model. They probably didn’t sell as well, but still took some brand awareness from the T-fight so they folded her in with a signed version exclusive to Poland
