Swing Vision: great app, appalling customer support

I am retracting this message. If I could delete it, or change the title to a less negative one, I would.

Initially, I had difficulty getting in touch with Swing Vision support and even other users on the official SV moderated user community, but eventually, I figured out that:

  • You can get in touch with SV support through support@swing.vision. This is where you should report bugs. If you do it on the Facebook user forum, the post will be rejected by the moderators.
  • All other inquiries can be posted on the SV moderated Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/618084585748632/?multi_permalinks=1499578974265851, but the moderator seem to err on the side of caution for the first few posts, or if you are not a heavy user of FB (I stopped using it in 2016 after the Cambridge Analytica scandal).

Since then, I have been able to post the FB group and report bugs by email and am satisfied with the responses I got.

Otherwise, the product is really useful, and there is nothing like it available on the consumer market.

I'm a pro user and my message would be the opposite of yours 'appaling app, great customer service' . Their customer service is actually very responsive for the most part which is awesome but I find the app appalling because the ui is just so finicky. I've also sent them so many suggestions and they just ignore me which is unfortunate because they think my work flow (I use a separate camera to record then import into swingvision) isn't representative of most of their users.

Overall the main app functionality is still a huge time saver and it's still the only one of its kind so I hv to put up with it's ui finickiness.

Very sad with last update, cutted off the option in app to see basics statistics. Now you need to be pro user to acces how many strokes you hitted effect and speed.

I accept and support that advanced statistics shall be for pro users but I feel like cutting the basics is just not cool.
