Since I came back to tennis after a 2 year break I'm trying to experiment with a few frames. My usual stick is the Wilson K95 18x20. Today I tried the Tecnifibre TFight 325 ATP. Although the TFight 325 is supposed to be only 7 grams lighter than the Wilson, it feels way too lighter. I don't know but the K95 has a unique feeling...I mean you have power but you have feel as well and control. I think the K95 is what someone would call the ideal compromise between a 90 thin beamed frame and a 100 muscle racquet with no feel.
The K95 is my first real racquet. My first one was the Prince Ozone Red, ordered by my coach. After a month of use I got wrist strain, something like mild tendinitis. I dropped it and bought the K95. I was a beginner and had tough time handling with it. So I tried Dunlop Aerogel 300, Wilson ProOpen Tour 96, Yonex RDS 100 (red n black) Dunlop Aerogel 4D 300 Tour, demoed KBlade 98, K95 Team, ProStaff Rok 93, PS 6.0 95. In the end I was always going back to the K95. I had a stint with K90 and then I had a 2 year break. Now coming back the K90 and the PS 85 felt nice to play with but too demanding. I went back to basics again, K95.
I'm somehow sure that after my trial period with the Tfight 325 and a Donnay PRo one 18x20, in the end I will end up with the K95. and there I'll stay. Maybe get a few more from the new line.
So switching from Wilson to Babolat? Don't think so
PS: I have hit with the Aeropro a couple times, and that thing did not feel like a racquet at all. But the Pure Storm line I guess is a different story.
