    Hi everyone,
I've recently been demoing a few rackets because I'm switching from my old Wilson HPS 6.1 MP. I'm looking for a racket of similar weight (maybe a little heavier) but with more control. I tried Head LM prestige mid, wilson ncode 6.1 18x20, yonex rdx500 mid and the Prince Tour Diablo mid. I had a few problems with each. I liked hitting with the LM prestige, the racket felt solid, but I had trouble with returns and volleys due to the lack of manueverability. The Wilson was also comfortable but I didn't like the stiffness and I felt like I had problems generating enough spin. I liked volleying with the Prince, but I'm not sure if it was the string job or me but I had a few problems with depth. I felt like I had to swing really hard to hit penetrating shots. I felt good hitting with the yonex but it felt too light for me. Also, I had a lot of problems keeping the ball in the court, but I think this was a result of the loose strings on the racket. I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions as to what I should demo next or have had similar problems with these rackets. FYI: I'm 6'5, 200lb 6.0 level player with a good serve and groundstrokes.

What are you missing from the HPS 6.1? I have played absolutely everything, and with nothing do I play better than the HPS.

How did the string and tension of the ncode 6.1 compare to your usual with the HPS. The general concensus is that the Ncode is a little softer than the HPS.

You'll definitely see a lower manueverability with the Head, since its considerably more HH than the HPS. The RDX is a great racket, but needs alot of lead to get to where you need it to be.

Sounds like you want more weight and less power (therefore more control) than the HPS. If that's right, I can only think of one thing: PS 6.0 85.

Try the NXGraphite mid. I just made the switch and I love the added control, also I can use a real string cause of the denser pattern.

Try both the nSix-One 95 16x18 and the nSix-One Tour. I think the nSix-One 95 16x18 is the closest thing to the HPS 6.1 95, as it should since it's its replacement.
