Switching rackets from Wilson Steam 105s to Babolat

I have been playing with a Wilson steam 105s. I am a 4.0 player who enjoys playing from the baseline. I really enjoy the Steam 105s for the spin it allows me to hit but I am simply going through strings to fast and don't like the 15g string to get more life out of a set.

I am going to demo the Babolat Pure Drive 2015 and Pure Aero from ******* sports. My question is should I go with the Team version of the rackets or the standard version?

I had some elbow issues with the 105s when I strung it at 62 lbs which has resolved when I dropped the tension to 52 lbs.

The Pure drive and pure aero are about .5 oz heavier but the swing weight is less than the 105S. Is it the swing weight that is important, and what would be a problem for my elbow?

Stock version of the Pure Aero should be fine for you.

You can increase the SW by customising - add a little weight to the handle and the hoop - but try the stock version first.

Keep in mind, you will probably have to work a little harder to produce similar amounts of spin, but you should have more control with the Pure Aero once you dial in your shots.

I would be surprised if you elbow issues had anything to do with the racquet. More likely it was the string you were using and the high tension.
