T Fight 315?

On Tecnifibres website it has a new 2013 T Fight 315 listed, yet in their product catalogue that someone on here posted it didn't have that if I remember correctly. Can anyone explain why?

Wow.... specs are very friendly. 98 sq inches, stiffness at 64, and available at both open and closed patterns.

TWE doesn't have the 315 listed. :(

A shame, I sent an email to Tecnifibre customer service, but I'm expecting they're not selling this to the US.

Hmmm the specs in racquetfinder are different from the website. Stiffness is way low at 61 and 59 respectively. Interesting if the metallic ping of the Tfights make an appearance.

Swingweight is so low too. I thought it'll be close to around 5-6 pts HL strung since the unstrung balance at the website was at 8 HL

Specs of Tfights 315 looks very promissing, but i agree swingweight is way too low for 315 gram stick. I would personally liked swinweight somewhere betweeen
315-320.

They really developed that awful ping with racquets introduced following the 2009 models. Hopefully, they will take a step back. The stiffness ratings look promising.

Hi,
I observed this racket and asked a company that works close to them.
Said they mistakenly announced the existence of this racket on the homepage and now are obligated to sell it. Says it will not be a large production.
wont be available however for another 2 months. The specs are nice especially flex, I think this racquet is exactly what they need, i.e. a true players frame.
PM me for more info

Lol if that's the case then this must be the best thing that happened to them.

Hehe I don't think there's any other racquet out there at 315 unstrung 98 square inches in a closed pattern, thin beamed too!

Had a hunch they might just be using an old mold. Those ridiculously low flex numbers just feels like something from the past.

I am surprised by this because there employees were fully aware the racquet was coming out before the racquets were posted on their website.
Back in November Josh Hausman had told me about the new TFight 315 ltd.
So If that is the case, that would be very strange.

They did a version of the old Dunlop 300 tour?

The grip is red leather!

Agree totally with everyone - let's hope the metallic ping is gone. Liking the specs, flex especially. Would have really liked a slightly longer version like the old TF 325 I checked out quite a few years back.

anyone know when this will be available in the U.S.? check that. I saw in Odds/Ends that they are supposed to be getting the entire new line in any day now. Plus the review should be up in the next week as well as Bartelby already pointed out.

Anybody heard much about the racquet?
Looks so interesting. Might very well be my next racquet if I like the way it feels.

Would TW be doing a review if this was a limited production as mentioned above. Specs look good, except the low swing weight.

I got a chance to hit with the 315 in the open string pattern. Serves as an intermediate between the Pure Storm weight and the Pure Storm Tour weight. Very nice stick to hit with, I found more depth on my shots than my current Aero Storm GT racket. I have a feeling I'll be picking up a few of these in the future. I don't know why Tecnifibre would limit the production of these, spec wise it'll be the best stick that they offer.

How about swing weight / plowthrough on ground strokes?
And is there any metallic ping to it?

Not as much plow as my Aero Storm, but I do have it leaded with 6 grams in the head to add stability. I would definitely add lead to the 315 if I were to make that my stick of choice. I guess I didn't notice a metallic ping noise, but maybe if I had prior knowledge of that I might have noticed it, I guess I didn't know to look for it, therefore I didn't notice it.

Yes, we are doing a review on both string patterns of this racquet. The video should be up by tomorrow with the written to follow in 1-2 weeks.

I wonder what is the closest Head or Dunlop mold for this one? Would be interesting to see it compared against Head PT280 and Dunlop 200T with some swingweight customization

looks very low powered, everyone hitting very short balls, but interesting racquet, would love to test, but don't see it available in europe yet

Good observation. Not a lot of deep balls. But they all said it needs lead at 12 at the very least. Interesting they all seem to prefer the dense pattern. I normally play with a 16/19 so it will be interesting to see the differences myself.

I am very interested to hear anyone experience with this racquet, so if you have had a hit with it, please let us know.

I believe it's the first generation tfight 325 mold, but now in 16x19 pattern. This could be what Fernando Verdasco is using.

What is the difference (as far as feel goes) with the first generation tfight 325 mold compared to the current one?

The beams are boxier on these 315's than the beams on the 320 and 325. The edges are more squared-off and less aero-style than the beams on the 320 and 325. I wished these heavier frames had the same boxier and narrower beam.

And here is the answer:
Love the PT630. That's a good comparison...I'd say the feel/flex/softness is pretty similar between the PT630 and TFight 315. The PT is definitely heftier, so it's not as maneuverable but has a little more pop and plowthrough. However, with a little customization that can easily be fixed with the TFight.

That's great! Now, let's find out optimal lead placement...

Tecnifibre TFIGHT 315 LTD - is this MAJOR X-ONE frame?

This new TFIGHT 315 LTD appears to have a lot of the same specs (RA the same at 64) as the old Major X-One Control racquet.
Can anyone confirm if this is indeed the case?

TW pics look like a square beam in the throat with wee bit thicker and rounded beam at the tip of the head.

SW of 309 is too low but can be fixed.

It is kind of like the old box beam tfight 320 prior to the vo2 oval beam version. But, 18x20 is new and thicker head tip is new. Also, it's similar to the old dunlop 300t in shape of mold but I didn't think the dunlop played anything like the old TF 320.

Might be worth a demo.

Anybody else played with this racquet yet? Any more comparisons? I am thinking about making this my next stick, so I would love to hear more feedback on the racquet!

I am not sure if you have realized that the racket did not ship yet and is estimated to ship on February 5.
Therefore, we are all looking at the specs and speculate how it will play...

I have ordered one (18x20) and will test it next weekend.

I do realize, however some (somehow!) get some early because of their connections. Like Tennis_Enthusiast said he got to play with the open pattern version.
So I was asking for some people like that to maybe give some more information.
I look forward to what you say about the racquet as well though.
I am getting impatient. haha

I can telly now..it is what the old TF used to be...
Same mold, same flex, etc. I just got excited about the silicone, so, I will report.

I am not sure how the old TF used to play as I have only played with the 2011 TFight 325 version.
For this reason, all information about the racquet will be incredibly useful for me.
Could you maybe compare what the old TF felt and hit like compared to the more recent ones?

Never tried any when they started the VO2 stuff...
