Been using the T-fight 325 for about 6 months now. The best racquet I ever played with.
Tfight 320 user, thought I would resurrect thread
Did you guys see the new blacked out T-Fight on Tecnifibre's Facebook page?
Anybody here with FULL NAT GUT setup for TFIGHT 320 VO2 MAX? I am using FULL NG with mains 16 at 58 and crosses 18 at 61. I'm interested in others experience with full nat gut for tfight 320 vo2 max.
Why? What are its stand-out features?
Thanks for pointing it out. Guy from another thread from Oz kept promising to email pics of new TFights, but I never got them. I'm glad to hear it's official, and there's a new line coming out in January. I love my VO2 325 so much I'm probably just going to buy another, but at least I know the prices will drop when the new line comes out.
The ones I've liked the best are Black Code 18 and RPM 16. Currently hitting with BHB7 @ 54 lbs and it's good, not great. I hear Tour Bite is also very good with this stick (I'm talking about the 325).
Thanks F.Perry! we have the same racquet and i love it than my previous racquet. i tried RPM & i dont like it cz it doesn't hold tension. might probably try tour bite or red code next time around.
just ordered a drop weight machine. and excited to string my 325's with this one. Just wanna know How long of string would i used for the main and crosses for this tight 325 racquet? i dont want to cut 40ft into my reel of string with one.. Hope you guys could help. thanks!
does anyone know where i can find a few tflight 320, 18 by 20
looking for the non vo2 version, email me at email@example.com the 27 inch one
anyone have one of these, 320 18 by 20
let me know
This is the pic they posted to FB:
However, as mentioned already, it's apparently just an updated paintjob. This is what someone posted on their FB page who's seen the racquets in person:
P.S. Just bought a new 2012 TFight 325 V02 Max. I may also need to wait until the 2013 line comes out to buy a bunch of the 2012 paintjobs...
is teh first rule of T-Fight Club that you can't talk about T-Fight club?
(I be somebody has done that already but I'm not reading three pages to find out)
Some of the models are updated cosmetics, some have the new "Synergy" dampening. All have new grips.
The new 315 16/19 and 18/20 thin beam sticks with leather grips are sweet
As are the new Rebound rackets with bigger head sizes, new grips, bags, and blue poly.
Hey aussierocks, what do you mean by thin beams? What is the specs of the beams?
Does anyone use Solinco Tour Bite 16g in a TFight 325? If so what tension would be a good starting point to try?
I got my new TFight 325 strung with Black code 17g, and it literally lasted 3-4 hours of playing time before it popped. Feel and power was decent, but durability just isn't there.
*Disclaimer* - I serve in the 120+mph range and hit a heavy ball.
Ended up stringing it at 54/52.
Played with it for about 1.5 hours today and it felt really good. More power and spin than the Black Code 17g, but definitely had less feel. Seems to compliment the TFight 325 really well...
What's the new tech in these new racquets?
Poly urethane underneath the grommets, red in color that reduces vibrations. Not on all the sticks though.
rogerWawrinka, whats your take on your leathered grip 325's?
Thinking about switching to the 325 from a Babolat Aero Storm Tour GT...any suggestions?
Leather grips are on the new 315s
16/19 and 18/20 string patterns. These rackets will be offered in the US only.
Hi guys, I'm thinking about to buy a 320 samuray from a friend for a resonable price to try out for a while because I like the little extra SWeight and the more open pattern. So far I have been using a microgel prestige MP.
how would you guys compare the two racquets? are they totally different?
320 is a spin monster...that's really it.
Count me in to the T-Fight club! I've been searching for my dream racquet for a while, I've played with the BLX tour 90 (great control but too demanding and small sweetspot), Prince Tour Diablo MP (great spin but less control and gets pushed around), and IG Radical Pro (so-so control, really comfortable but too much power)...and almost by accident I came across a couple of T-Fight 320's, damn... I was really impressed with the great spin and pace you can generate with this frame, serves were bombs right from the start, and firing winners from all areas of the court was fantastic.
The only thing I didn't like was the grip shape (I usually use 4 3/8 but the 320's came in 4 1/2), is there any way to fix this?
I know Tecnifibre doesnt have a big name like Wilson, Babolat or Head, but this frame is really a must-try for anyone out there looking for a new frame wihin the specs of this one...just amazing.
Sorry this is late, I have not been on for a while. Anyways, I am not using the leather anymore. I been using prince resi thin because the leather was just too big of a grip size for me. Although short lived, my experience with the leather was amazing! I especially liked it because I am a big fan of the Wilson six one 95's 10 points HL and the 325's 7 points HL was just a bit too head heavy for my liking, so the leather put the racquet at a sweet 10 HL. I would definitely recommend it!
thanks. if it adds up 3grams to the previous synthetic grip to leather. would that means 1gram=1HL?
The net weight difference between leather vs synthetic grip varies, but I've typically found it to be in the +7-10g range.
do you use leather grip on your 325?
Hi T-Fight club
so I was wondering what this racquet feels like?It seems very underrated,
but I really am considering this racquet,
I have tried some babolats, the prostaff 90 and ig speed head,
any comparison to what the T-fight might feel like guys?
Looking into the 2013 325, don't really know what to expect.:?:?
I use the stock grip. I like the stock weight & balance. Just an overgrip, o-ring dampener and I was good to go!
For my Xmas present to myself, I'm getting 3 more 325's along with a Tecnifibre 9 racquet bag.
Looking for a classic T-fight 320
I'm looking to buy the original t-fight 320 with 4 3/8 grip and 18x20 pattern with 8/10 condition. If anyone can hook me up it be much appreciated as I know they are hard to find now a days. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks
TF-305 is one of my main sticks now (with Donnay P1 18x20). Can I join the club?
Sweet, I want that bag. Are you waiting for the 2013 TF's or buying 3 of the current ones?
Just picked up my third 320, this time with the samurai paintjob!
When is the 2013 325 coming out in the U.S.?
I believe they will be available on 1/1/2013
As there's no difference between the 2012 and 2013 models, I'll probably just go with three of the 2012's. But I may wait and get the 2013 bag.
Did you buy the tfight at the local store again? Does it have samurai cartoons on it?
did you still have them up on the wall as room decor? it matches the curtains?
Wait, so there is absolutely no difference in the 2012 and 2013 T-fights other than pj?
got word that someone well-known on the this board has been trying out the T-Fight series and might be joining the club shortly...
(no, not talking about me)
I recently popped off the end cap on my 325 and took a look inside. Nothing. The description of the racket from TF's website says:
"Integration of silicon in the lay up of the handle in order to limit the bad vibrations linked to the frequent use of polyester strings (> More comfort)."
I'm not exactly sure if that's saying there should be silicon in the handle, but a websearch indicates there should be. Thinking about putting a little silicon in there myself, after reading the thread about it, wondering if anyone has any input.
there is a very thin layer of what must be the silicone in the handle of my 320. its inbetween what seems as the outer and inner layer of the handle. I just added 10gr of ge silicone. Very happy with the new feeling, trying it out on my other racquets as well.
All the 320s and 315s are hanging all over walls and complement the navy green curtains and yunnan weed-trip curtains in a perfect interior decoration design. The only problem is the waves from the icemaker disturbing the geomagnetic peace of the pristine ProPro stringbeds:lol:
Any idea when the 2012 T-Fights are going on sale?TW?
I would like to join the TFight club! I have been using Tecnifibre for about almost 2 years now. I currently use the Tecnifibre Tfight VO2 Max 325 (leaded up to about 12.5 ounces). I might switch to a different one when their 2013 models come out as I now get discounted prices from them . I might try a new model of theirs that will be the TFight 315 LTD with a thinner beam.
replace a grip on my tfight racquet w/ leather. hope it stays the same. keeps on winning!
Tried the T-fight 2013 325 and the T-flex 300 today. It was my first try on technifibre racquets and I found that it hits very decent. The design from the T-fight seemed like it had a bit more designs on it compared to the earlier one. The racquet(325) T-fight also felt very light compared to the earlier model's listed weight of about 340++ if I remember. T flex felt more comfortable probably because it had a softer tourna (Blue) string in there. It also felt more powerful, I'm thinking because of the string. T-fight was strung with a technifibre multifilament string at about 57 pounds. Thought I might share some of my thoughts. Anyone else who have tried it care to share and compare some opinions?
