I turned on the tv and spotted this live exhibition match between Ryan Harrison and Diego Schwartzman. It's played in Hilversum, The Netherlands.

First set for the Argentine and Harrison 5-0 up in the 2nd.

They're playing semi-seriously and Haase is commenting live. He just spoke about Harrison's "guns" and Ryan responded by showing them off:p

Honestly never heard about this exhibition before. And I thought I followed Dutch tennis news quite closely.

Harrison wins in a third set supertiebreak.

Apparently it's a new exhibition tournament. Some kind of Boodles but as preparation for Roland Garros instead of Wimbledon. Looks like fun. The full name is "Melkhuisje Masters"

It's played in the same stadium as the Dutch Open used to be played until 1994.

Anyone heard about this? Any Dutchies?

Heared about it, thought it was kinda cool, but it didn't get my special attention. Could they got Haase to do commentary, but I guess that means that music if off limits.

"Melkhuisje" used to be the Dutch Open up till some 25 years ago, yeah, remember that... (sheet, I'm getting old!!! )
The tournament went south when no 'big names' started to show up anymore, and that was already happening some 40 years ago.

I didn't hear anything about this exho, their PR is pretty much failing imho. No news about it anywhere.
Where did you watch?

BTW... any Dutchie over here planning to visit Rosmalen this year? I'd like to meet some of you, if possible! :) :) :)
(very nice list of players: JMDP, Goffin, Cilic, Brown, Mahut, Gasquet a.o. - darn, that's quite a decent entry list! :) )

I watched it on Ziggo Sports. Imagine my surprise when Harrison and Schwartzman were suddenly playing live in Hilversum:eek: HUGE fail of their PR team.

I have no plans to go to Rosmalen but I'll let you know if things change!

YES, exactly! I mean those guys aren't actually 'nobodies', they're doing pretty decent on the ATP!
And in bloddy Hilversum, of all places... LOL!

Ah, would be nice! :)
