Taking the butt cap off.

I am thinking of lengthening my LM radicals by .5 inches, because I loved the extended length of my pure drive plus. So I decided to try it out on one of my older crappy racquets, but after I take the grip off, the butt cap is tightly stapled to the handle. I tried prying the staples off, but they are very tight. Any suggestions?

hwo do you get it off, and then put a new one on?

Take the grip off, pull out the staples attaching the cap to the handle, and there you go.

Taking off the buttcap is easy but how do you plan to lenghten the handle ?
Whatever you do will surely impact the play of your stick and it maynot work verywell.
Older technology rackets, like the puma becker, had an adjustable gripping system which allowed approx 1 inch of travel, but these were problematic and often broke.
