Simon talked about it, and there was a thread here maybe a year ago but I can't find it. Anyway, I still find this interesting, and wonder will we ever really be able to define it?

When it comes to Tennis, I read/hear a lot about Hand Eye Coordination.

To this Day I could not find a practical Example of what "good" Hand Eye Coordination means.

I believe every Human Being has a good Hand Eye Coordination, unless there's a major Issue with the Central Nervous System.

If someone has a weak nervous system and has brain fog and ADHD then they also have bad hand eye coordination skills.

Feel is another one, you can't teach good feel

One cannot teach it .... But everybody can learn it.

Btw what do you mean by "Feel" anyway ... For Years Fans kept preaching that Djokovic has no "Feel" fore Dropshots. And nowadays Djokovic is able to produce Dropshots that are mindblowing.

It's comes naturally to Fed but when Novak does it, he doesn't look comfortable. Look at Feds Smashes and Novaks it comes Naturally to Fed to be monster at the net the best at putting the ball at net away. Novak looks nervous and uncomfortable.

Maybe it comes naturally to Fed, because you like to think it comes naturally to Fed. Who says he did not learn it early on by playing lots of Table Tennis, where you Slice alot. Ore by standing on the Court fore a Month practicing Drops Shots 24/7 ....

I see your point but Djokovic has worked on a lot of things as well to make his game complete. Fed isn't strong or durable like Novak but is more talented and effective.

Of course he has. He's probably among the most stubborn and hardest working Players ever. So are Fed and Nadal I believe. Maybe Safin not so much.

yea of course fed's slice is better because he has a one-hander, that is less about talent i think. But performing backhand smashes, trick shots etc., he makes it look easy AND he makes them all well.

it's not the trick shots..monfils and dimitrov can hit them too and they don't have half the talent of Federer put together. Federer's genius stems from his wrist...that's god given. There are other things as well obviously but the wrist is the biggest thing..enables him to do whatever he wants with the ball and of course the footwork/anticipation is key to putting him in position to do that.
