How about stocking some Asics Gel Resolution 2E Wide version. Near impossible to find a wide fitting tennis shoe in Australia at moment. This model is genuinely wide also, so I'm sure would appeal to many players.
Ashaway ZX zyex would be nice to have in Aus also.

My wish list for Australia are:
1. Racquets available in 4 5/8 grip sizes
2. Pacific Tennis racquets as per TWE
3. Pro Kennex Racquets as per TWE
4. Classic racquets such as C 10 Pro, Prince Original Grsphite, Dunlop reissues, Babolat Pure Storm 95 in tour specs
5. Prices more closely linked to US prices plus exchange rate, some racquets are a lot more than that.

Hi All,

Please use this thread to post any "Wish List" inquiries or requests in regards to products you want to see in Australia! We will also try to answer questions, offer explanations as to why we don't have certain items, or to let you know arrival dates of others.

**Please keep in mind: This is a wish-list only, and many of the items that you want, we already want too (we just don't always get access to them)! Your fellow tennis players working at Tennis Only would appreciate patience and support when we don't always have the answer you want to hear. That said, we look forward to hearing what you're interested in!
A better range of 2e or wide options in tennis shoes. It has been nothing short of ridiculous how hard it has been to find wide tennis shoes that are even wearable here.

I second @underwatercow's playtest thingo - Would be awesome if us Aussies could get a chance to test new racquets + gear :)
Would appreciate:
  • The new Yonex SV95
  • Wilson Ultra 97, Burn 95
  • Babolat Pure Aero VS
  • The new Flyknit Nike Vapors
  • More colours for the Nike Vapor 9.5's
  • More apparel varieties
  • Weekly sales/specials, kinda like Happy hour at TW in the US
  • Also more variety of strings such as tecnifibre Razor code
Cheers :)

Siobhan,
Longtime TW USA client here and TT forum reader. Moved here to Melb from Dallas, TX in 2008. Some gripes:
1) Pricing: I still send quite a bit of business to TW USA (i travel to the US on work once a year and have colleagues coming here once/twice a year) mainly on account of advantageous pricing (despite the depressed AUD). With TW acquiring TennisOnly here, I was really, really hoping that TO would be able to leverage the purchasing power of TW and break the cycle of rip-off pricing that the distributors have in Aus, which result in disproportionately high pricing. Hasn't happened yet; hopeful that it'll happen soon.
2) Range: One of the most popular strings in the multifilament range (esply as a cross) is the Technifibre NRG2. Sadly, Technifibre doesn't seem to have much of a presence here and if I want to purchase a reel of NRG2, it usually becomes a special order that would set me back by about $AUD400 (!!!).
Hope this feedback helps.
Cheers,
Kartik.

Don't blame the local Distributors, blame the local Governments. The cost of doing business in Australia is quite high compared to the rest of the world. Wages are high, Rents are high, Cost of Utilities are high, Tax rates are high, etc. etc.

Distributors and Retailers are in business to make profits. Otherwise, what's the point?

2) Range:
It doesn't make business sense to stock product that is in low demand. Range of products will always be limited in Australia simply because it is such a small market compared to the rest of the world. Fortunately in this era of the Global Marketplace well informed consumers have plenty of alternative options.

Could we get more shoes for CLAY - I know that Nike releases clay version of shoes which is fantastic.

Although Australia doesn't have a lot of clay courts we have the horrible synthetic grass courts with the sand. I find clay shoes to be best suited for theses courts.

Any chance that the TW team can shoot a few reviews out in Australia especially during the Austrslian Open. Could have a tennis travel feel to it and boost your marketing presence here.

Yes - clay court shoes would be a huge plus. Also, proliferation of clay courts really depends on where you are... here in Melb (esply in the E Region) clay courts are everywhere... even the National Tennis Centre at Melbourne Park (where the AO is held) has heaps of genuine clay courts now.

This is a great suggestion. Similarly to what you do at Indian Wells in CA.

This thread sucks. It should be renamed "Welcome to Australia. This is the stuff you can't buy!!!"
Yeah, great job Tennis Only. Should be renamed to "The Only Tennis Stuff You Can Buy".

Since TO is the main supplier of prince frames in australia can we make grommet sets for prince available too? It is a really big pain when the only places I can get them are TW and TWE.

It's alright i bought a reel!

You need to get more bags. More backpacks specifically. Racquets really don't come with cases now. Just a thought.

Not happening. Already some frames only go to L3. It seems only the more serious frame gets L4. Believe me i could use L5 too.
At Tennis Warehouse USA all brands except Dunlop Srixon have grip 5's, they just need to send a couple this way.

Any reply would be useful please.
If you plan to stock the model, I'll wait patiently. If not, I need to look into sourcing it from overseas.
Cheers!
Instead of posting this request on here. Why don't you email Tennis Only directly? You will get a quick reply from them.
