Hi there TO team,

Any chance you will be bringing in Gosen AK Control 17 strings? I see you have AK Pro CX ones, but the Control version seems to tick all the boxes a little better for me, based on the TWU stringing DB .

Cheers

Pro Tour 2.0 section on the Tennis Only site removed and banner taken down, makes sense when you don't have the stock to sell, doesn't look good for a restock down under though. ☹

I know, Tennis Only hasn't responded to this thread since Aug 2015
As someone who doesn't live in Perth or Melbourne, I don't find them to be a very good retailer. Their combination of price, range and customer service makes it hard to pick them over either local bricks and mortar stores, or overseas online retailers.

The Melbourne Store is fantastic. We have always found the guys there very helpful. Prices for most of their stuff is competitive now that the AU Dollar has tanked against the Euro and the USD.

Prior to the Melbourne Store opening, we purchased plenty of stuff from Tennis Only via the online store, including tennis racquets. Again, no problems at all and prices are extremely competitive especially during Promotion periods.

Compared to other local Melbourne stores, their Melbourne store is best by far, and the company has the most sales and very frequently throughout the year - and customer service reps are the nicest and most helpful

Whereas the local 'Tenniswarehouse Australia' store basically never puts an item on sale unless they need to clear it, and the max discount they will give is around 10% - they also never follow any of the sale holidays such as Black Friday, or Click Frenzy happening right now

As for other private pro shops, i can understand not being able to put stuff on sale, because their margins are probably low and revenue is probably not great either

Is not affiliated with the Tennis Warehouse we all know and love. Tenniswarehouse Australia is really a side business that is run by the family who owns the Real Estate and the Storage Business / Facilities that its store is located there.
Yeah i know, hence the inverted commas, but they are pretty well known

2 in Melb....
the one in hawthorn is like its own operation kinda, so I was told.
I bought shoes from tullamarine which were wrong size, but they wouldn't let me return them to the hawthorn store which was closer.

Would you get in some more Asics ff court 2 shoes, OTHER than size 7.0 or 14.0 being the ONLY ones??? so weird...

Only 7.0 and 14.0!

Hmm, something tells me you were left stranded with both ends of the range and are perhaps not ordering anymore, or cannot obtain?

Angell is a custom build racquet manufacturer. You must deal directly with Angell to purchase its products.

Same with Cancha bags.

Afaik, TW and TWE do not sell either of these products. And so it is very unlikely TO would either.

Backed up message: From the thread "Why was Medvedev a weak opponent for Novak in Australia, but Roddick a strong one for Fed?", which was deleted. The backed up message contains three of my posts, two by @mike danny and one by @PETEhammer. The second post till last post is a response to a previous post, the first post is a response to a post from @Sunny014, which I didn't manage to save.

In other words, Djoker again loses in hypothetical matches. The bad luck for many is that Djoker's success rate in real matches is many times greater.:whistle:8-B:cool:
What do you think about Medvedev as a Nole rival in Slems compared to Roddick with Fed?
At the moment, Roddick is a bigger rival for Fed than Medvedev for Nole, but that may change in the future. Roddick has a Grand Slam triumph, more titles and more matches against Fed than Mad Lad against Nole. But when it comes to match up, I think Mad Lad is a tougher opponent for Nole than A-Rod for Fed, he just didn't have many opportunities to show it in grandslams. Both mutual grandslam matches between Nole and Mad Lad took place at the AO, where Nole is the strongest of all the grandslams. We will see what the future brings.
I don't see how that is an excuse considering Federer's toughest matches with Roddick came at Wimb, where Federer himself is the strongest there.
Please answer a simple question - who is a tougher opponent in terms of match up, A-Rod for Fed or Mad Lad for Nole?
As of now Mad Lad, but he is dealing with older Nole, while Roddick dealt with the best Fed his entire career more or less.

Backed up message: From the thread "RIP Prince Philip", which was deleted. The backed up message contains 4 of my posts, two from @Hitman and one from @BeatlesFan, which I managed to save.

My first post:

I am very sorrowful by this news, I saw Prince Philip as an important support for the Queen Elizabeth II and a humorous glossator. I really liked his humorous remarks. It must be an extremely heavy loss for the Queen.
Hitman's first post:
RIP Prince Philip, he looked really ill.

How old is the Queen?
In my second post, I responded to Hitman:
She will be 95 years old in 12 days. When the Queen dies, it will be a huge shock to Britain and the world. Her reign is so long that most living Britons have not experienced different monarch.
Hitman and BeatlesFan responded to my second post:
I can imagine.
Most here in America love the Queen as well. She's an example of grace, dedication and service to Great Britain. A grand lady!
My third post:
Wimbledon pays tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh:
