Hi all,

I have been an avid reader of these boards and I read them every single day.. I dont participate much.. but I do follow everything.. from gj011 to the current nadal_slam_king I have followed the trolls too..

I had this idea of having a TT meet across the world.. I know it is difficult.. but not impossible no??

Or atleast have introductions.. your age, back ground.. what you do in real life etc.. and make this thread sticky so that it stays on the top..

I suggest this because I see that people know each other so much on these boards.. if they involve a little on personal fronts.. we would make great friends.. and nothing makes me happy than meeting someone with whom i can talk tennis..

Cheers,
Siva

LOL! what about leaving them both off to BLUE LAGOON,can you imagine what kind of Nadal fan would their offspring be? Hyper-optimistic or Hyper-pessimistic? Or finally an Intellectual fan would be born?:)
my bet (for "clarky slam fail Jr.") would be on a severe high frequency cyclothymic disorder, but it's really a puzzling issue that you raise here, tushy... i guess we should adopt an experimental approach and just "try".
(would be some foam in the blue lagoon, i'm afraid...)

do you think NSK would need some advice from fedace in order to 'seduce' clarky ?

Tushy, are you insinuating that Clarky is not an intellectual ? That's preposterous !..........

What a great idea Siva. I would be delighted to meet you and we would indeed make great lifelong friends. But first, can you please book and pay for my return flights to Madrid and a few nights accomodation? There is a simple pensione near Plaza Mayor that would be suitable. Hostel Cruz Sol I think it is called. Looking forward to meeting you.

How is it stalkey?? You guys spend so much time together on these boards.. and seemingly know each other inside out.. you might as well make friends.. I would personally love to meet the guys who talk on this board.. excluding the nadal fan girls.. others seem to be insightful about tennis and I would love to talk to them in person..

I live in Europe.. Berlin for the next 6 months.. If anyone lives here or close by.. drop me a message. :-)

aha.. an offer i seemingly cannot refuse.. :-)) hostel cruz huuh.. what an interesting choice.. there is a line of east european hookers next to that hostel..

When I said meeting, I didnt mean all TW members meeting at a centralized location (Madrid in this case).. I just meant members from each country meetings people from their own country..

What happened to Sentinel? I don't see his posts recently.

That is What I was thinking.I have been busy with my exams lately, just today I was checking his posting history, then I realized that the last post he made was on 11th Nov,well he could be on holidays..Don't know!:(

The only ones near me would be Jaychu, Ktid and Pound Cat, some other TT user from York Uni who knows me.......don't think it would happen.

Plus tennis is a boring topic offline.

I don't think he works, so every day is a holiday :-)

I know these indian guys.. sureshs (from chennai), tusshi and Sentinel (my favorite).. I was in India when I first started following these forums.. I would have met them if I was still based in india..

I have played with 3 other posters over the years. Now, I regularly play only with one of them (every couple of weeks).

Noble idea, but most of us a struggling to make ends meet, and still buy tennis rackets 3 times a year.
However, you're welcome to stay in my '79 Ford Van in front of my g/f's house in reciprocation for my stay at yours.
Do you want to stay in SanPablo, Ca. USA, one block from Richmond, Ca.?

Well of course a bunch of TT posters live in UK like me, but really talking tennis in person in real life is not a good thing. You get way to nerdy and get involved into never-end conversations. Plus you can't do light-hearted trolling as well. :-|

I don't know about this, no offense, but it's a bit creepy.

I don't mind having a drink with *******s some time. How about some place near the JFK airtrain sutphin blvd station?
