I think he just lacks confidence in the big moments, at least in the past. I hope these past couple weeks of good results are an indicator of an improved mental game. His tennis has always been top notch at his best.

True, but I really like watching him play. I really thought he would lose those tie breaks, especially the last one. Hope he goes far here and elsewhere. He was even better vs Medvedev. He might be my new favorite.

him charging the net after either getting passed or messing up his volleys over and over was not very smart (in the third set). i get why he did it (was cooked), but the execution just wasn't there.
