Team Tennis Season kicked off GREAT!

My school's team-tennis season has started and we are now 1-1.

We played two schools today; which names I shouldn't reveal.
I played Doubles and Singles both matches.

SCORES

Doubles Match against High School #1 - I Won 6-4 6-2
Singles Match against High School #1 - I Won 6-2 6-1

Doubles Match against High School #2 - I Won 6-0 7-5
Singles Match against High School #2 I Won 5-7, 6-0 10-3 in a super tiebreaker

The OVERALL Team Score for HS #1 we won 12-7
The OVERALL Team Score for HS#1 : we lost 9-10

So now our team is 1-1, and my overall record for the 08-09 season so far is 4-0

What I learned today: Play YOUR tennis. Don't ease up and play the way you practice. I had lost the 1st set 5-7 because I was timid with my shots. New set; new mindset. I went in hit the big first serves and went for my shots.

FALL SEASON: TEAM TENNIS, there are 3 boys doubles, 3 girls doubles, 1 mxed doubles. 6 boys singles, 6 girls singles.Total of 19 matches. To win the match for your school, you win at least 10 out of the 19.


SPRING: "Tournament" Tennis, you play like the pros do. You keep on winning, you keep on going on until the finals. Trophies / Medals are awarded. We DO play conso's though.

I play for Cy-Fair HS. And I don't play USTA.

Oh, i heard of them, never played them. Hopefully we go and see each other in touments. but im in jv ranked one. Suppose to be in Vasirty, but the all the seniors toke the spot. yeah i play pro-sets, but its all good as long as i win i guess? haha. I play for Elsik hs
