The new TFight 325's have a swingweight of 316 on the racquet finder. That's 10 points lower than the previous model's :-/

The SW should be 322 per TF for the new 325

I just strung up 4 new 315s with HDX tour (plus string-a-lings).......going to go back to the RDC Monday and retest all. Specs per TF are 330 SW

Gavna - how is the HDX tour string? I use X1B, like it a lot, but saw the specs on the HDXT and am VERY intrigued by the string.

I love HDX Tour. I may like it better than Biphase...I'd love to string both up for a direct, side-by-side comparison. You didn't ask me, but I figured I'd chime in anyway.

I've been trying different setups - I like both Origin and HDX tour in the 315s. HDX is great stuff
HDX tour has caught my eye, how does it compare to full poly?
I've been playing with black widow/RIP control cross which doesn't last long but I can't handle full poly (Tour bite soft caused issues at 21kg)

The variance is strange...........I'm going to restring tonight and slap em a Babolat RDC machine tomorrow
Swing weights seem to vary quite a bit in my experience - I've seen a pair of racquets that are with 2g and 2 balance points but the swing weights had a difference of 11 kgcm^2

Played with new 315 Dynacore today. String pattern is very open so it is spin friendly. Very powerful racquet for players racquet. Much more power then 315 Ltd and much more stiffer feel.
Control is ok but nothing special. It Plays Like modern racquet but is very arm friendly, no hard vibration at all. Somthing Like Tflash 300. It is very maneuverable.

I usually play with Tour 100 16x18 and new 315 has little bit more power. I'm playing more effective with Tour 100 but will continue demoing New TF 315.
I've put SPPP due to it's lower power to see if I can tame the power of the racquet.

Well I just strung up one and slapped it on the RDC.......I got SW of 320

That's with HDX Tour 17G, tourna grip, Luxilon O dampener........hmmmm

i've strung my T fight 315 with Dunlop Balck Widow 1,26, it weights 314 grams unstrung and it's 10 points headlight. Strung weight is 330 grams without dampener and overgrip. Anyway,it's a great racquet , offering a solid and plush feel at impact, semi-firm but very comfortable frame..

Sounds comparable to the 320 that it replaced.

I appreciate the feedback, Spinovic! The HDX Tour specs are similar to X1B but it looks amp'd up (in a good way). I'm going to have to try it out.

It's crazy how successful the 315 ltd has been for Tec.

Not sure where you get that from. The 315 Ltd sells in miniscule numbers compared to the rest of the Tecnifibre range. TWE for example, have had them on sale for half price for some time now and still haven't managed to clear their stock.

The Tec rep implied that the Ltd was more successful in the United States...so maybe it's appeal is more regional.

Even bigger Sweetspot and Spin, IMHO, and greater on serve.More maneuverablity, also.

I can buy that. The 320 was listed as a 95 sq in frame. The 315 is listed at 98.

I say listed, because having owned a 320 and 315 Ltd, they looked exactly the same laid on top of each other.

In any case, it's listed slightly bigger, and slightly lighter, which should translate to your conclusions.

I'd love to try out some of the new Tecs

I contacted TWE about purchasing a Tfight 315 ltd in grip size 3 since the website mentioned they are out of stock but due in stock in a couple weeks. TWE replied that they will not be getting any new tfight ltd's at all. So I guess they are sold out.

To be honest, i've just spent 3 hours on the court with the new 315, but first impressions are very positive. Very solid and stable despite the low swingweight, this helps to bring the head of the racquet quickly through the contact zone, and the very open pattern also translate into massive bite and huge spin to the ball.

A concern I had was would there be lack of stability due to the low swing weight; sounds like that may not be an issue.

Hi Eric, welcome to the TW board. I wanted to know if you guys plan on releasing a new tennis bag. In the past, you had the VO2Max tennis bag with the padded shoulder straps and the cushion pods on top of the bag. I like the design of this bag but the only thing that prevented me from buying one was the lack of a thermal lining.

Do you plan on releasing a new bag that keeps the great features you had in the VO2 Max bag but adds the thermal lining?

^ wow, on paper the specs of TFights are looking pretty close those of the TFlash.

Can someone confirm - the new TFights do not have silicone in the handle?

Unstrung

Isn't that pretty much the same flex as prior models?

Accordings to my rep that is about 10 points stiffer than the prior models.

Tec Rep in email said:
You may know already, but our 2013 TFights had a good amount of flex to them, which supplied a lot of power, but only if you had a big enough swing to help generate that power. The NEW 2015 TFights, are on average, 10 points more stiff than the 2013 version, which allows the power without having to have such a big swing. This allows a player at a much lower level, i.e. 2.5, 3.0 to be able to use the NEW TFights. The following are the stiffness levels/ratings for all our NEW TFights, as well as, all of our other up to date racquets:...

Hm, that's strange isn't it? TW has the prior TFight models flexing out in the high 60's when strung (minus the ltd editions of course). The numbers Irvin's supplied are in the same range unstrung, meaning the strung models should have a lower RA. And yet the Tec rep says the new TFights are 10 points stiffer? If that's the case, and they're taking out the silicone, I wonder how these sticks will feel on impact :?.

Yeah, I don't know how they'll actually feel, but they are pretty much in the same ballpark as previous versions, whether you look at TWs specs or the specs from Tecnifibre themselves.

It seems like he's comparing them to the Ltds, because that's the only thing that makes sense. The regular TFights were stiff.

Have you had any more time with this, Id love it if you (or other users) could do a quick but more detailed review , especially in comparison to the tfight Vo2 320 Max.

Ive used a Samurai 320 since they came out but although I love the way that if you get everything right the ball fizzes off the court with it, but if youre even slightly off balance there's not much compensation available, and its always seemed somewhat sluggish. This is especially true in terms of volleys I find in fast doubles exchanges I usually come out second best. When I'm on it there's NO better racket, but lately I'm a little less fit, playing less and feel late on volleys and if I'm out of position I'm struggling to get the massive racket head speed that makes me unplayable sometimes with this thing. Again my serve effectiveness drops off massively as I tire and lose even a tiny bit of racket head speed

I was thinking lately of switching to an Aeropro drive just because its soooo easy to use that its like cheating, but I'm a Teccy at heart and would miss them. Is this new dynacore 315 frame the perfect solution at the perfect time. Tell me folks? Also is the feel similar on the 315 Dynacore to the Vo2 Max320 as I'm so used to the feel that I hate most other frames now.

I have been playing with the Radical MP line, picked up a friends TFlash (315) one day and had that exact thought "this feels like cheating". It's so easy to hit a super heavy ball. I've not played with the Fights but the Flash is definitely worth a look.
I thought my arm would be falling off looking at the flex rating but it's far more comfortable that the Rad MP.

Ok so nobody was telling me so therefore I've got a demo of the T-Fight Dynacore 315. from TW. This is quite the most stunning racket I've ever used.

Wonderful. The perfect racket. I knew it would exist one day.

Give it more than a few days :)

This is just TFs version of the Pro Staff 97. Almost identical specs.
But it's no magic stick. Still takes some talent to wield it effectively.
Glad you like it though...TF makes quality products.

Well its funny you should say that :)

Used it again today and do you know what, it felt more demanding somehow and kind of hard work to get it through the ball. When I did it was just as brilliant but as the session wore on it happened less and less. Very frustrating session but I was quite tired today.

What's the story with Demo's can you put your own strings in to see what its like with your ideal set up?
EDIT>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Wait.... I gave it a farewell hit today, and it was back to being unbelievably good once more. This is a very Schizophrenic racket unless I just had a bad day last time out

To revive this theme.
305 and 325 users...I would like to know the difference between this sticks...not only specwise. I have 3 315 LTD. 18 main. Tried many variations with lead tape but never found perfect one. I don't like leather grips so I've changed that with synthetic one and put lead tape under the grip to replace the weight of leather. That's OK but I feel the lack of power. Tried to put lead tape at 12 first, then 2&10 and many other variations but don't like increased SW. So i would like to try to maybe go for a little stiffer frame to get more power with lower SW. Now I've tried to play with 305 with leather grip....and it's very nice....SW is good, power is good, feel is OK...but don't feel good with leather. Should I maybe try 325? Woud it be IT....similar to 325 with leather or???Help please...

I haven't played with the 305 or 325 and can't say for sure which you would prefer. If you like the 305, I'd be inclined to recommend sticking with it.

If you do choose to try the 325, based on the specs and review, the Dynacore version is different due to a significantly lower SW. The playtesters didn't seem to like the new update, so you might want to grab the old model while it's still available. By all accounts, it was a good stick and good in stock form. At 12+ oz in stock form, it's probably not a frame most would want to add weight to, so the low SW in the new one could be an issue - it could end up with a scenario where you have to play with a frame that's underpowered or too heavy.

My guess is to stick with the 305 if you like it. If you have to try a 325, try the prior model.

If you're not determined to play with 18 Mains, the new 300 and 315 Dynacores would likely offer more power due to the 16x19 pattern and a slightly larger head size. I recently got a 315 and can only say good things about it.

Thanks for the reply.
I've also tried 2013 version of 305 not Dynacore.
Dynacore racquets are all lower in SW than previous versions.
I love the feel of the 315's 18M but what can I do about that lack of power except increasing SW?Maybe to increase static weight overall? Where to put lead to keep the same SW? Tried with different string tensions also. I have great feel with it and everything but I can see on my opponents that balls aren't heavy as they should be. I'm flat hitter and 16x19 sticks are not my favourite.

Aside from adding mass, your other option would be to go with a more powerful string setup. Gut should last a long time if you are a flat hitter with such a dense pattern.

It's more likely that you would prefer a stiffer racquet. The 315 LTD 118x20 is about as low powered as they come.
