Tecnifibre grip shape

Hi
Just switched from babolat to tecnifibre trying out some frames
The grip shape seems to be bugging me, has any put the head pallets on any tecnifibre frames without a problem ?
Is the bare handle shape the same?

Thanks in advance

Tech is slightly different than Head. I'm not sure if they even use a pallet system?

Tec 315ltd uses pallets, I can't speak for their other rackets but I'd assume them too. I think they may actually use Head pallets. Ive had all my 315's grips reduced using the pallets, so it's definitely doable.

In my measurements of Tecnifibre pallets (fixed, molded except Ltd?), they are very similar geometrically to Head TK82 pallets.

thanks,
I have one 295 TP which does not have pallets. An looking to test the 320 / 305 also.
More concerned with the interior shape of the pallets, I am hoping they will fit flush on the frame like with Head rackets.

Yes, the 315ltd are the more rectangular like on the prestige. I'm in the minority in that I prefer that shape vs the more squarish grip shape. As I said before, I'm pretty sure there shouldn't be a problem with the fit of the pallets.

Wrong, the ltds actually come with Head TK82 pallets installed, and are therefore identical to Head prestige/radicals. Amy difference you might perceive is strictly due to different replacement grips etc.

Wrong? Didn't I say basically what you said?

Just to add that the buttcap on the 315 Ltd. is quite a bit different from a Head buttcap (Radical/Prestige) in that it doesn't have that much flare, and is more squarish. Of course, installing a Head buttcap works great.

Yes. Tec buttcap is terrible. no trap door, and its has that stupid barcode looking thing. Don't know who at the tecnifibre design came up with that one.

It's a Q-R code. If you scan it, it leads you to the racket specs page (if I remember correctly.)

Great, so I should be able to install the TK82S pallet without a problem.

Thanks :-)

Yes, absolutely. I have already done so, works perfectly.

A piece of advice: I used boiling water to remove the old pallet. The hair dryer method didn't work for me and was too slow.

By the way, didn't I buy pallets/buttcaps from you?

@voodooboot
Yes maybe you did I have sold quite a few pallets before,
As for the tecnifibre no existing pallet on the 295 I have
So will have to get busy with the chisel.

Do you know if the new TF lines use pallet system?
