Tecnifibre Official - Racquets

Ok - Thank you for the update above. So did you end up finding EZ lock Eyelets? my racquet - Technifibre TFight ISO 300 - needed grommets replacing because strings were breaking at the edge of the racquet, and I think there was a split in the grommett, perhaps at the location of the Eyelet. Researching online, found it difficult to find where to purchase these. I also bought replacement grommets from TW, and they did not have the eyelets...

No, but I was able to reuse the ones that came with the frame. When I pulled the old grommets out, the EZ lock eyelets stayed in place. I just snapped the new ones in place. They didn't marry-up perfectly, but they mated well enough.

Yeah I thought it’s been their best one of the 305 line.
Iso is fine.
The thinner beam. 328 SW. just better feel.
Hi Chris,

I'd be interested to know why you prefer 305 XTC over 305 RS and 305 Iso?

Is it the feel since 305, the specs suggest they play the same perhaps some subtle differences.

Is XTC without foam filled? Does XTC provide the crispier feel?

Quick Q - in the event I can not find another RS305, which of the newer one will play closest to it, provide the specs/QC isn’t crazy.
Thank you.
Well the only thing that’s on the market to buy is the tfight 305 iso that will be closest to your rs 305.

QC with TF is normally good. For years I’ve used their product I only had one racket that was 6 grams under spec. All the others were between 304-306 grams.

You will deal with this basically for all companies except maybe Yonex.

Thinner beam yet medium RA provided excellent feel and control. It was more stable and while I normally prefer rackets a little more head light - I felt like this racket didn’t need any weight.

Control was great. Weight distribution was great. Mine were a 328-330 SW strung which is perfectly fine.

I'm leaning towards 305 RS due to higher RA. Higher RA I think would mean more power.

Thanks for your input.

Cool. Thanks for that.
I thought the ISO305 would be the one. I haven’t read through the ISO (massive) thread yet.
Good to know Technifibre has “decent” QC… I’d be okay as long as it isn’t too far off the advertised specs. I will tinker a little anyway.

Thanks again, I shall start looking for an ISO305.

Edit - any idea where I may be able to find a used RS305 (shipping to Oz too)?
