I’ve been sponsored by Tecnifibre since 2013 and was one of 5 pros given the DC 315 Ltd earlier to play test months before release.

I told Dave D feedback to give the engineers in France but they didn’t change the racquet back to the same as the 2013 model with a new paint job.

Thanks mate, it's good to know I'm not imagining it afterall. There's nothing wrong with the dc version, its kinda sharp and crisp though. Just doesn't feel like the 2013 version at all, and not what I'm used to.

Yes, it's my favourite out of their current frames, especially once it's customised with a leather grip and lead at 9 and 3.

Is it better than the DC or original version? Also I have heard things about the 16x19 feeling stiff even though its low RA, have you any experience with this frame?

Yes I think it is but not as good as the 2013 and older T Fight series 325 frames. They were great frames particulatly the Samurai era paint jobs.
Current T Fight racquets are not as good but at least the LTD helps somewhat.

Thanks for that... I looked that up and the racquets look very nice. So far I like the specs of the 315 version more as it's more HL and the same static weight as my TFight 315 Limited (2013). Would be very interested to find out what the RA will be. Hopefully lower than the XTC TFights. The high 50s to very low 60s would be perfect for me... fingers crossed.

new sizes for the rackpack - interesting, if only they can fix the layout (reverse the shoe/accessory pocket) i'd be all over the bag again!

also very interesting to see the variations for the overgrips, a .3mm overgrip may be the thinnest we've seen so far? i think the thin variants from wilson/babolat are .4mm

a .4mm for the players and a .7mm for the players, this could be really nice!

I'll ask around find a rep, for a top rated TTW player, bionic poster, who loves low swingweights and XL frames with solinco tourbite. They may even be able to get some custom dr scholl insoles with a superfeet insole for our special friend
Lol. Do companies ever give sponsorships to amateur players? Say 4.5 tournament level?

IIRC this one will be the thinnest. I recall that the thinnest one up until now was Kirschbaum Touch It ultra at an advertised 0.38mm thickness. Back in the day these wouldn't last a match.

On a different note. Stating that a tight pattern in the middle progressing to a more open one outside of the center is something unique is very cheeky of Tecnifibre.

Not sure they said it was something super unique... just one of the features of the racquet... at least how I took it.

Look, I know that's all advertising bs. But they did use the word "unique" for something that has been around for a very long time. It's not like other companies don't do it, I just felt the need to underline this.

Yeah, I understand... they always need to make it special and shiny so that people get excited and buy the new amazing racquet.

Yep . I’m amazed at how much better the XTCs are than both previous T-Fight iterations (Dynacore and DC). 305 315 and 300.

I've only played the original 2013 right 315 because of the hype that it was a copy of the pt57.. I thought the xtc was a complete different mold? how does it compare to the 2013 if you have experience?

I think that the poster you are referencing is talking about the regular TFight XTC models and not the 315 Limited, but I could be mistaken...

Hi there. Don't fret!! While HDX Tour is currently being phased out, we will introduce a remix of the string (name & info to remain nameless for now ;). I can assure you that this new update will maintain the core essence and elements of HDX Tour, with a few changes to the manufacturing process to create a more reliable string for today's players.

Hi Frans. The new TF40 Racquet Series will be a new racquet category for us. It targets the expert & pro level players. The TFIGHT XTC Series remains in the line for another year.

Thanks for that info @Tecnifibre Official

Both the T-Flash and TF40 Series racquets look amazing... can't wait to hear more about them and listen to some reviews. Will the TF40 Series be broadened to more models or stay with just two for now? Thanks

Just a change of name? Or recipe?

Hi Jster. Yes, unfortunately Red Code Wax is being discontinued. This is the only string "going away". HDX Tour is being re-invented to be bigger & better than before. I do think RCW was around longer than 2 years - but your right, compared to some of our other strings, this was a short life span. Have you tried Ice Code yet?

Is ice code round or shaped? I am using red code wax and HDX tour as hybrid.

It is round and a great string. I've used Hyper G for two years, but now Ice Code 17 is my string of choice. Supreme control, not very soft, more powerful than Black Code, spin is no problem and last longer than Hyper G.

Thanks, tribesmen. You summed up Ice Code better than I could :). Quick verification: when you say "lasts longer than Hyper G", do you mean durability or tension maintenance? I love feedback & information.

@Jster. I apologize for messing up your preferred string set up of RedCode Wax and HDX Tour. While you will be able to easily switch to HDMX from HDX Tour, you'll have to see for yourself if you can sub in Ice Code for the mains. Please know that HDMX will also come in a 15g, and perhaps you can try that in a full bed.

T40 looks and sounds great!! What will be the stiffness rating on the T40 305 and 315?
Hi MarioRich. Thank you for the kind words. I wish I could take credit for the design :). We have a great R&D and design team and they've been killing it lately. While the TF40 Series will have the lowest stiffness rating of all our frames today, I would prefer to let Tennis Warehouse take the lead here so all the specs are consistent and more helpful when you compare against other frames. I hope this makes sense for your needs.

I meant a tension maintenance. Durability of 17 is no problem, but I was surprised regading tension maintenance for a poly string, it is really good. But the CONTROL is the first thing that comes in mind regarding Ice Code and control is the most important feature for me I was looking for strings.
