Tecnifibre T-Fight 305S vs Babolat Pure Aero 98

zykoniko

Rookie
Please compare these 2 rackets.
Which racket is better for me?

I play on clay all time, have a double handed backhand.

I am grinder and stay all time on the baseline. Any netplay.

Fast and flat first serve, weak 2 serve and i have no kick... perhaps i learn kick better with pure aero?

Please help. I want to buy new rackets next days

I can't speak for the 305S as I haven't used it but if you have a flat serve the PA98 may not be great for your serve. If you start implementing more spin on your serve you could probably work with it.

Not true - just coming from a match of bombing 190 kph+ serves with the Aero 98
It does spin well, but you can hit a mean flat ball with it

Neither myself or my brother can jive with the PA98 on serve but as with all racquets, what works for some, may not work for others.

Any racket can serve flat, it just may have better strengths than this

The Aero98 would be my choice any day on clay court, where spin from your forehand will help much
But don't think that this racket cannot hit flat serves or groundstrokes

I use the 305s and briefly traded with my friend’s PA98 during our session the other day as he was curious. Spin is, I felt, more plentiful with the Aero 98 in all regards. 305s is no spin slouch even with the 18x19 but PA98 is still above it.

Kind of similarish but 305s has slightly more control for flat shots and pa98 has more spin. If you are more of a spin player go with pa98 if you are more of a flat hitter 305s.

Never measured 305s or pa98 but pa98 felt like it was 325-330sw and 305s about 320-325 so I found 305s easier to serve with however I had to wrap another overgrip to 305s to add 5gr and make it more head light to fit with my strokes while pa98 was good to go stock. Pa98 has more vibration and it’s stiffer so my arm feels lot more than 305s which with poly felt fine. I feel that I need guy mains in pa98 To make it playable and not hurt my arm.
