Tecnifibre T-Fight 325: Flex?

Supposedly the flex of this stick is like 58, very flexy.
I've played with it and that sounds right, but in the 2005 US brochure it says the stiffness is 64 for the T-Fight 325 and 66 for the T-Fight 315.
I know for 2005 the 315 got a new black bumper guard and grommet strip (replacing the earlier clear version), did they also stiffen up the flex of the 325 for 2005 or is that a typo? Anyone in the know?

the TF325 is meant to be 58flex, the TF315 is 66. As far as I know the flex has remained the same on both rqts. Nothing has changed here in the UK/Eurozone. The only updating I know of is the new black strip on the TF315, although it does make it look much better.

When I demoed the TFight 325 it felt "very" flexible. I would think the 58 rating would be right.

I agree with couch! I use the TF 325 just because it is the most flexible racket i played since my days with the RD7...

@GG I think, that flexible rackets give you more feel and spin as the racket cups the ball and the contact between ball and string is longer...just slightly but for me it feels like a huge difference to stiffer frames...

The 325 I am holding in my hands does say RA of 64 on the inside of the throat.

Alfa, how new is your rqt? I have 3 TF315, and a stack of other TF rqts (I'm a dealer form them) but none of them have the flex rating on them. Maybe its a US only thing. Anyone else got the flex rating on their rqts?

Paul

UK Skippy, the one I am holding is brand new, 5/8 grip, so it is one of the "new" batches, since earlier 1/2 was the largest grip available.

you must have a really new one as my latest tf315 (which I got about 3 weeks ago w/blk grommet strip) hasn't got the flex on it either. Maybe its on the US versions only. Does your tf325 have the blk strip?

I hit with the 325 for a couple of hours today. The racket had 64 flex written inside the throat. That seemed about right to me. It's longer than standard, and the string pattern is quite dense, but nonetheless the feel isn't a sub 60 flex racket.

My initial post wasn't a complaint, just curious really. I think the T-Fight 325 is an excellent racket. Although I would prefer a different grip shape, I am going to continue using it. Strung with Tecnifibre 515 17g at 55 lbs., my TF 325 came out at 61 on the Babolat Diagnostic Machine.
