Tecnifibre Tfight 305S 2025 vs. Wilson Blade v9 16x19 (regular & pro)

Wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to compare the Tecnifibre Tfight 305S vs. Wilson Blade v9 16x19 Regular or Pro version.

I'm currently demoing the Wilson Blade v9 16x19 regular version and like the variety and control I have over my shots.

Can anyone who has tried these frames compare them in terms of: power, spin, control, stability, manoeuvrability, serve, return and volley? I'm thinking on paper they should be very similar but haven't had the personal experience with the Tfight yet.

can't compare all attributes, but the TFight will have a bit more pop because it's a tad firmer and the beam slightly thicker. The ball doesn't dwell on the strings as long and I'm pretty sure the string pattern is a little tighter on the TFight. That said, I think both racquets want to hit through the court more than enable a vertical swing path with heavy spin. The Blade may be a tad more versatile.

Yeah, and I think the TF40 would as well.

I mained the Blade 16x19 v9 for about four months, and am now maining the 305S. I would say access to spin, maneuverability, and serves are fairly equivalent, but in all other aspects the 305S is better - more stable, way more direct feel, more power, and slightly better control / predictable string bed. Personal preference matters a lot though given some don't like the direct/somewhat harsh feel (which I missed and love) or the grip shape (which I've gotten used to).

I’m using the 305S and xtc (2019 version) tfight.

I’m having a bit of an adjustment to the new specs on the 305S. I’m used to more plow.

On the contrary the xtc has a 33 cm balance strung and SW feels around 328-330 maybe.

The problem with the iso was the SW on frames could be 340. Which on a 305 is odd and uncommon. That’s similar to the blade pro maybe? Idk.

IMO quite different frames. TF305S is a tight 18/20 stiff and thicker hoop - producing more easy power and stability, not as easy to hit spin. The Blade v9 16/19 is noticeably more flexible, has a more dampened or cushioned feel and less easy power. The Blade also feels like it has a smaller sweetspot. Blade feels like it cuts through the air much more easily, easier to apply spin, more finesse and not as much of a club as the TF305S.

I can give my 5 cents. I have both Wilson Blade 98 v8 16x19 and TF305s.
With TF305s you can do more damage. It produces lower, more penetrating, heavier ball. It is easier to hit a winner.
I would also say that it is more stable than blade when dealing with heavy hitters.

The downside for me is that it is easier to catch the net. I would also say that TF305s does not like when you slow down your stroke. So when you are under pressure, tense and the stroke is not that fluid and fast it is easier to make a mistake. Blade is more forgiving on slower swing speed.

When it comes to feel both are comfortable. TF305s is more crisp, less dwell time than blade.

May I ask if you modified your 305S ? I did not have that same experience with stability against heavy hitters in stock form. Needed weight in defense/counter shots when facing aggressive ball strikers.

I' have both the tfight 305 s and the blade v9 16×19 pro. I'd say the tfight is definitely better for more attacking tennis. I found I was able to produce a heavier ball with the tfight and felt more confident with it over all. The blade was definitely better for serves but for most ground strokes the tfight is hard to beat.

No mods. My TF305s unstrung specs:
W: 306.5g
B: 31.5
SW: 291

On the other hand I had to spec up my Blades v8 with some lead tape at 3&9 and counter-balance with leather grip.
