Temporary cover over court during rain (?) (At all possible?)

Hi

Anyone in here who has come across solutions for covering courts during rain so that play can continue? Or has heard of any such solutions?
We experience a lot of rain at our club and are painfully set back during outdoor season as we have no indoor facilities.

All/any feedback much appreciated! :)

You mean you can continue to play during the rain or that you can play when the rain stops without drying the court?

I have never seen a solution for multiple outdoor courts. The square footage is just too big for a tarp, even without the addition of nets, poles, fences, whatever. There is also the issue of getting the covering out quickly and on the courts plus somehow getting the same covering off without damaging it.

Yes, I mean so that you can continue to play. I realize it is most likely impossible as I can't seem to google my way to anyone who has found such a solution. Only thing I've seen is shading, but then we are talking much more permanent/slow solutions. It would have to be electric to have any usage as far as continued play when it rains.

Have you seen for single courts? Even continuing on one court is better than no court.. [emoji848]

Yes, but it only covers the ground of the court and play stops. Not what you are looking for. To be able to continue to play involves a permanent overhead structure ala 'indoors.' A very expensive solution would be to have a pressurized bubble, but then you are not outdoors.

We use pressurized bubbles for 23 weeks of the year and are legally bound to taking them down for 16 weeks (April-->September). Problem is that the weather (Norway) is very unpredictable and the club looses precious (and much needed) income when it rains. Suddenly it might rain for a week in May or even June which means all private lessons and adult groups lessons are cancelled (we offer alternatives to the tennisschool for kids).
