Wrong! The OP said BEST, not most accomplished or most consistent, otherwise I would have had Murray at 5, and that's what my top 10 list reflects.
IMO Safin and Del Potro are better players in terms of level of play. When Safin is switched on and DelPo is in form they could take it to the Big 3. Whereas Murray could not do the same, for 8 yrs he could not match the Big 3, until recently when Fedal got washed up and Djoko slipped since RG. That said, I found it hard to separate Murray and 2001-05 Hewitt in terms of level of play.
If we're just looking at performance from 2000-present, I'd have a tough time placing Sampras ahead of Safin:
Sampras: 2 Major titles, 1 Masters Series title, no other titles, year-end #3 in 2000, year-end #10 in 2001, year-end #13 in 2002 (didn't play after U.S. Open), 2-4 against Safin (1-2 at Majors)
Safin: 2 Major titles, 5 Masters Series titles, 7 other titles, year-end #2 in 2000, year-end #11 in 2001 year-end #3 in 2002, year-end #4 in 2004, year-end #12 in 2005, 4-2 against Sampras (2-1 at Majors)
1. Nadal
2. Federer
3. Djokovic
4. Murray
5. Agassi
6. Safin
7. Hewitt
8. Wawrinka
9. Kuerten
10. Del Potro
Not bad Krish but I think Hewitt should be above Wawrinka. Come to think of it, not sure why you have Del Potro above Roddick either.Federer
Nadal/Djokovic
Murray
Agassi
Wawrinka
Hewitt
Safin
Del Potro
Roddick
Del Potro over Roddick and Nadal over Federer?
I'd also include Ferrero and maybe even Sampras over Del Potro.
Sorry, didn't know we were meant to just copy your list
Welcome to the whacky world of the Federer fundamentalist. Where up is down, black is white and doubles achievements = singles achievements.
Roger doesn't have an Olympic Singles Gold. His doubles gold will never be a singles gold. You should just learn to accept this rather than make a fool of yourself arguing that they are the same thing. You'd be as well arguing that Roger also has a 100M sprint gold, a boxing gold, and a feckin synchronised swimming gold because hey - those golds are all the same right?

Stan needs another slam to move ahead of Hewitt IMO. Hewitt has plenty of stuff outside the slams that Wawrinka will probably never achieve.Fair enough - I underrated Hewitt a bit I think
Hmmm, you missed somebody. I heard there is a guy from Serbia who is pretty good.Federer
Nadal
Murray
Agassi
Wawrinka
Safin

ohhhhhhhhhhh sorry mate, i misunderstood the titleYour #1 has been dead the entire century in question. And thanks to your #9 he's still not the worst inclusion on your list.
1. Federer
2. Nadal
3. Djokovic
4. Murray
5. Agassi
6. Hewitt
7. Wawrinka
8. Kuerten
9. Roddick
10. Sampras
I always knew you were biased against Safin![]()
To be honest, I forgot about him and that's the honest truth (I swear it guv). Let me have a re-think about where I should put him.
Even worse
I feel Ferrero is underrated a bit in these discussions as well. Think he's borderline with Sampras.
I revised my listing and slotted Safin in at #8. Means I decided to bounce Roddick in favour of Sampras unfortunately but am open to persuasion on that one!![]()
Djokovic
Federer
Murray- overall a much better player than Nadal
Nadal- His achievements are overrated and clay skewed
Wawrinka

Hewitt
Cilic
Roddick
Safin
Nishikori
Wawrinka, Cilic and Roddick better than Safin? And Sushi in top 10?

Roddick clearly deserves to be above Sampras I would say. One less slam is about the only thing Pete has on him.
If there was every any doubt to take your posts seriously, surely they are vanished now
Says the guy who puts Nadal ahead of Federer![]()

You would absolutely be a fool for doing that....you might not agree but you can't say one is a fool for picking Rafa instead of Rog.
I said it because he put Murray above Rafa. I think there are grounds to put Rafa above Rog, you might not agree but you can't say one is a fool for picking Rafa instead of Rog.
Federer is only slightly ahead of Nadal, they're basically both at the same level. How on earth can you take someone's post seriously when there is Murray above Nadal? Or Cilic better than Safin LOL....It's like saying Chang is better than Sampras!
I know why you said it, and yes putting Murray ahead of Rafa is ludicrous and much worse even than putting Nadal ahead of Federer, but neither ranking is the picture of objectivity either. It's fine if you put Nadal first, but even other objective Nadal fans have ranked Federer first.
I shouldn't have to say this, but the rundown is not kind to Rafa outside of H2H (which is actually partly linked to overall slam/title tally in the first place) or things that have long been secondary accomplishments like Masters titles, OG, or DC.
Being aware of the fact that Federer has a ton more weeks and years at #1 and was much more dominant in general I don't know how anyone could put Nadal ahead of Federer. And I haven't even mentioned yet that Federer has a 3 slam lead, more titles at 3 of the 4 slams and a record number of YEC's while Nadal has yet to win even one.
Again, your opinion is your opinion, but given the facts, it reeks of extreme bias tbh.
I wouldn't say only slightly. In this case the numbers don't lie. Federer leads basically every important metric by which ATG's have been judged for many years, and not just slightly. Nadal leads the H2H, but that only links into slam/title tally in most cases, and Federer leads both those tallies as well.
I know mate, you don't need to convince me, I'm one of Federer's biggest fans.....but they are both same tier.
Ofcourse it's biased. Roger wins the number games no doubt but I thought the question who I found to be greater and I chose Rafa because I do. Roger has the most impressive achievements and is probably the most beautiful/talented player I've ever seen.
with all due respect, im just laughing my ass of rn. i would LOVEEEEEE it see any of you try to topple him! a former no4 cant be underrated. i may get banned but MOST of you guys in this forum are complete and utter ********s.Why would it be offensive? It has nothing to do about Asians. He holds up as well as a Sushi roll in your hand, hence the nickname. He shouldn't even be in this discussion anyways, Nalbandian is ten times better than Nishikori and he isn't even in top 15.

Yall cant take a game off him and youre talking bs. there are some cool people here but people like you and leed and sureshs just ****ing disgust me. im done with tt for a lonngggg time
but yall treat him like hes useless. smhYou're missing the point. The point being that Nishikori does not belong in any top 10 players of the 2000's list regardless of fan bias. The fact that he'd destroy anyone on this forum in a tennis match is completely and utterly irrelevant.
i would agree. just most of yall just treat him like trash. and i hate the degenerate comments of him being likened to sushi. (EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE TO AN ASIAN, cuz we've been stereotyped a lot)Everybody above Nishikori in the ATP standings could be vaporized tomorrow, and Nishikori would still end his career with no slams.
He belongs next to Blake, Henman, Tsonga, Schuettler, Monfils, and Robredo on lists of greats. He's Ferrer with less grit. Berdych with less consistency.
