Tennis Academy

I have been looking at some certain tennis academies and have narrowed it down to three...
1. Rick Macci's Tennis Academy
2. Saddlebrook Tennis Academy
3. John Newcombe Tennis Academy

I am mainly looking at Macci and Saddlebrook due to their impressive alumni record. I was considering IMG but frankly, they are way overpriced, and haven't produced many players as of late. Anyways, what's your take and opinion on these academies? :)

PS- I am a serious player and am looking to go for quite a while and looking to improve...

If you are going to pull the trigger, don't look at the past, look at the NOW - go to where the best kids are as that's what you will need day in and day out.

Go to a good coach who knows how to develop a pro player. Any academy is a brand, brand itself does not coach players, coaches do.
If you find a good coach at a academy, go to him. Read these comments from an experienced tennis parent and a Romanian coach. Hope, it will help you. http://wp.me/p2iyrR-bj

Before you commit to any boarding full time academy, you should try them out first.
Spend 1 or 2 wk there to see all aspects, tennis training, coaching, physical and mental training, current group of students, housing and general atmosphere. Also look for good coaches there since you will still need one on one coaching to help you grow. Good Luck!

^^^that's true. This will always be a potential problem for any junior whose parent is not his/her coach. Hope there are many good coaches he can work with there.
