A friend of mine just moved to the San Diego area near Rancho Bernardo and is looking for tennis.
USTA 4.0, doubles
In this area for organized tennis we mostly do USTA leagues and clubs which all participate in interclub leagues. He said that he has not found clubs in SD with inter-club leagues so far. We rent indoor blocktime for the cold winters. Some blocktime goups have have 12-16 players and rotate opponents. For clubs - more interested in the tennis than the golf.
We also do platform tennis.
Any info on the tennis doubles landscape around SD, clubs, outdoor USTA doubles leagues, tennis groups,websites, doubles ladders, courts where people might pick up a match, etc.,would be appreciated.
