Tennis balls for concrete court

Hi,

I'm looking for extra heavy duty / long lasting tennis balls for concrete court playing. The court is extra rough on balls so I'm looking for something that is suitable for such case. Any ideas ?

I have tried US open extra duty pressurized balls and Tretorn micro X pressureless balls. US opens loose their pressure quite quick.
So I thought that the micro X's will last longer but it seems that the top layer starts to peel off quite quick and thus the bounce becomes random.

Seems like even US opens outlast the Tretorns...

Out of all the major brands I think the Wilson US Open extra duty is the most durable. You'll either have to deal with them or buy the cheapest championship balls from a discount store and open them more often.

I find that the quality to value ratio is best with the Penn ATP Extra duty. That's what I use, and I play only hard courts (unfortunately).

Just got one of these, and it definitely helped keep a can of balls bouncing after a short hitting session followed by a week and a half in the closet.

Note that it doesn't re-pressurize dead balls (unless you leave them there for 4-6 weeks, haven't tried that to see if it actually works). But it does keep opened balls from losing additional pressure just by sitting around.
