Tennis Only prototype string

I have three of the Prince Tour demos strung with this. What are a few strings that you would compare it to? Is it a particularly dense string? All three demos are over spec and I'm wondering if this string adds more weight to the racquet than the 16 or 17 gram average.

I have the same question. I think the printing says "TENNIS ONLY PROTO P6".

I just called TW. They say they are putting this string on all their poly demos, and plan to sell this string in the coming weeks online. If I remember correctly I think this is their own brand

Had this on a Dunlop cx200 Tour demo as well. Felt very stiff

I normally use gut poly hybrid. I found this string to feel as soft as that set up with similar tensions. Surprised by that myself. Ton of spin. Used it in head speed MP 2022

BUMP.

I got several demo racquets with this string on it. Anyone have any idea the identity of this string other than it's TW's own concoction? I also got them in conditions that are less than ideal - soft and mushy like these racquets haven't been serviced in a while. When I did try them they seemed to generate ok spin but lacked directional control due to the shelf life of these demo strings.

I’ve tried a lot of strings over the years…this one is a spectacular string IMHO. I was demo’ing the new Speed MP alongside 4 other rackets from TW, (Radical, Gravity, Extreme) and this string definitely had a role in my final decision. My demo rackets had lost a good amount of tension by the time they arrived, so the strings felt probably somewhere in the 45-48 lbs range… but WOW. This string at lower tensions in the Speed MP provided great pocketing, a solid amount of spin, free depth, and the setup generally had that “point-and-shoot” kind of thing without being to much of a rocket launcher. I highly recommend giving this one a try if you’re after a poly with great power, pocketing, and spin.
