Tennis Only Strings & Demo Issues

One of the hardest things about demo-ing tennis rackets from TW is the in-house strings. Speaking for myself, I seem to only get demos with the TennisOnly strings (multi and poly). Without those strings' metrics being included into the TWU string database, it becomes a bit hard to decide which kind of strings I want to buy from TennisWarehouse for follow-up purchases as I fine-tune the racquet.

Is there a company policy or supplier agreement that prevents TennisOnly demo strings from being included in the TWU string database? Would management be willing to revisit the issue of including those two strings on the TWU site?

Thanks!

At some point of your journey - you will realize that string metrics & data dont have as much correlation with the real world as one would hope. There is A LOT of inconsistent data on TWU and other string data platforms

Here is some data on P6

"Stiffness 221
Spin: 7.2
Stiffness is in the ballpark of Hyper-G & Lynx Tour."

If you really like the P6 string buy it here.

Admittedly, 221 is pretty insane. Definitely doesn't feel that way.

Not really - and definitely not insane - Hy-G and Lynx Tour are like 218 in 1.25... this is 1.28. Apparently also from Taiwan just like Hy-G.

Unless it as a known tension on a known machine in a known racket - feel of stiffness is not very useful indicator.

In general stiffer/thicker strings dont die as quick as softer/thinner strings - so it makes perfect sense to use such a string in demo rackets.
