hey guys i was wondering if anyone could help me sort out a tennis schedule as in what i need to put into my schedule to improve, i can train up to 5x a week for between 2-4 hours at a time. i consider myself a 4.5 player based off of what i have seen of videos and what my coach says to me but i am not here to debate what my rating is :L, so if anyone could give me some suggestions of what to fill my days with it would be much appreciated thank you

If you feel that your technique is sound on all of your strokes there's a fairly basic method to follow. Work on what's weak with your coach, then play matches to see if the improvements have shown in your play. This works all the way up to the pros. Remember how bad Roddick's volleys were when he first showed his face on tour, he hired Conors and worked on his weaknesses. Same strategy for you.

For most players, 5 days a week, 3-4 hours a day, for FOUR years is what it takes to play solid, competitive 4.5 or B level tennis.
Practice what you can't do, and practice what you expect to need for the future.
