Received! The MP looks really nice. Really digging the paint job. From just hitting against my hand, it feels softer than usual tweener hollow feel.

Mine came strung. I want to see how it feels with the current string, then restring the frame with the provided stings for the playtest.

Thank you, TW & Head for this awesome opportunity to participate in this playtest. Can’t wait!
I had asked for the Tour. I wonder which one I’ll receive.

TW Specs are up.

The new MP is stiffer than the previous MP. Perhaps the addition of Spiral Fibers compensates for the added stiffness.

I am curious to see how this new MP compares to the previous MP. I have a friend who likes the previous MP and is interested in buying one, but it is pretty much sold out now. The previous MP felt quite flexible for a power/spin racquet - a hard to find combination. I wonder how much stiffer this new version feels.

Also, are the Extreme Pro and the Extreme MP Lite not coming to the US. Or are they late releases like the Gravity Tour was.

@TW Staff
The 2nd, 2nd to last, and last pics of the MP on the TW website are pics of the Tour

Anyways, I got the MP yesterday (I chose either) and I’m excited to try it out! I haven’t tried Graphene 360+ at all so I want to see how it could be better than my current Speeds. I use the Pro (left) more but I think I’ll try and string up the MP (right) just to compare it to the Extreme MP. I’ll string up both MP’s at 54/52lbs with RS Lyon 17. Thing is, I won’t be hitting til next Tuesday. Going to be going to the WTT event at the Greenbrier this weekend!

Santa came today and brought me the tour.. 330 grams strung 16 gauge with dampener, collar and the head overgrip..32.0 balance..
Looks sharp in my new TW 9 racket bag...

Would lIke to hear your comments on it. I really like the MP with its wide open string pattern. Looks like it’s aiming to compete with other popular tweeners by providing more spin to control the inherent power this frame will offer.

I enjoyed the Tour, wasn't stiff at all, the really like the beam shape and thickness, nice and balanced - swingweight was probably a bit too low, there's alot of instability and twisting on any shots that are the slightest bit heavier, but the racquet moves very fast and can hit a good pace ball at this low static weight

Will be good to see what it can do once you beef it up a bit
@Raizu added 7 grams to the head and seems to like it a lot at a 335 static weight with overgrip and dampener. Very encouraging considering he typically uses a 350+ gram pro staff.

How is everyone stringing theirs?

I did a full bed of Head Lynx at 53/51. I've only played one match (doubles) so far and will try and get a singles match in tonight. There's some pros and cons with the racquet. I'm going to try to get about 10-15 hours with this string then replace it with my go to string Hyper G.

Plan to play tonight...my opponent is a coached female Jr...typically I lose..but dont mind as its the best tennis shot for shot I get to play...

@cd3768,

Thanks for the head's up. Updating images now.

@Doublebounce,

The US currently will not be getting the Pro, MP Lite and Team models. I believe the launch date for Europe for the Extreme line is end of August.

Thanks,
Brittany, TW

MP is softer than its previous, which is good. Still haven’t played a match with it. I plan to play one tomorrow on clay, for better or worse. It looks nice in the sun though.

Here in Louisiana, the heat (97 w/ heat index of 110 and humidity at 60-70% on average) is sapping all my energy so it won’t matter what racquet I play bad with, lol. Wa wa, I know

Interesting. I found it VERY stable. And yes, I agree, I would add about 4g @ 12 and silicone in the handle for the rest of my testing however, even in stock form I find it very stable and a nice size sweet spot.

I posted in other the thread but I find this spot on due to all extremes having solid twistweights. Sometimes users test frames in waaaaay too small grip sizes, hence the lack of stability and twisting e.t.c
