What kind of player is this geared towards? I’m a poor man’s Rublev and looking for something to help with my power baseline game.

Racket requires full fast swings at the ball driving through the ball with a lot of spin, which is pretty much how rublev plays so it should be a good try for you.

Otherwise if you aren't good at generating your own pace or have a slower vertical spinny swing to brush up on the ball to create a lot of spin, not sure if this is a good racket for you. Also not the best racket for flat hitters due to the open string pattern and high launch angle.

Would love to demo this and compare with my 305s. Would be my first racquet Playtest! Loved the Gravity Pro in the past but too heavy to swing.

Wow! I am currently playing with 2023 Gravity Pro, and I love it. It would be awesome to be part of this playtest to compare the two.

Currently using the speed pro but was a fan of the gravity pro that I demoed prior to the speeds. Never got to try the tours but I'd love to see how they compare

Yes I've been interested in it for a while but don't have the disposable income for one. I pretty much try to hit the ball has hard as possible deep and cross-court then go dtl on the short ball. I like a racket with a natural high launch angle because I feel like I can focus on my target over the net. I naturally have a lot of power, and am using a babolat aero leaded, which is stiff. I used to use the microgel prestige mid and loved it, just became too small for me and I switched. So I am thinking this is like a mesh up of everything I am looking for, forgiving headsize, manageable heft with a nice sw for plow, thick frame for stability and power yet low RA to help balance that power and really allow me to pop into my shots, which I love about the prestige mid.

Owned 4 Gpro and 2 Gmp at one time. Signed up immediately. Really hope I don't get an overspec one, if selected.

This is the last racket on my ‘demo’ list! Was loving the whiteout v2 for the most part but intrigued about this for a softer feel. Would love to compare the two

This would be a great one for me. I played with the Gravity S for 4 years and then switched to the Gravity Pro for the last two years. I believe I could give a nice review of this Tour in comparison to the other two frames.

As a recent TFight 305S playtester who was very thankful to get in on that test, I'll be sitting this one out. Keen to see other people's opinions, and rooting for you all to make it!

Very interested in this as well. I’m currently alternating between the new GMP and the Gravity MP XL released last year. Both have helped me get over a bout of tennis elbow and are super comfortable. The MP XL is terrific on serves and groundstrokes, but I enjoy returning more with the new MP, probably since it’s a bit lighter and more maneuverable, and it just has a special feel to it. Hoping the Gravity Tour could be the best of both worlds.

This racket wasn't on my radar but after looking at the specs it seems like an interesting offering!

In actuality this frame looks like a hybrid of all my favorite rackets... as a longtime Yonex player the teardrop head shape is very familiar, my favorite racket of all time is the 2017 Yonex VCORE 95 with the low power level and buttery 62 flex that begs for high RHS where the Gravity Tour comes in at a similar 59 and seems to ask for the same effort, and prior to the VCORE I was a Blade 98 user where I loved the connected and surgical feel and box beam construction where the Gravity Tour seems to fit the bill there too. How can I not put in for this one?!

Good luck everyone!

I like the specs on this.

It's funny how the more I play and more I pay attention to specific aspects of the game, the more I adjust what I'm using. I like the swingweight on this along with the lower stiffness rating (59 RA per TW). In the past, I have not liked low stiffness ratings, but the older I get the lower I go....

Regular Lynx? In such a soft frame already? Nah, I would guess more towards Lynx Tour, which seems to be a standard inclusion for Head demo's these days anyways, and/or one of the Hawk series.
I'd also think lynx tour and/or hawk series.

I was on the Extreme Pro playtest last summer and I got Lynx Tour and Velocity so I would imagine it's probably something along the lines of that.

This racket has amazing specs! Hope i get to playtest it. I will probably love it and recommend it to many people. Every single spec is where I love it. And I love how Head rackets feel and their racket tech.

And I would love to test Hawk Power. I have used Hawk Touch 1.25 extensively. I would love to compare.

If you were to be selected for the playtest, and if you wanted to string it with a hybrid of Velocity MLT and Hawk Power, how would you do it? Poly main or poly cross? Tension?

Is this in the same category as Babolat pure aero 98 or VCore 95?

From when I tried my friends it felt like a good in between for both the rackets you mentioned. I did give him some feedback in saying that the gravity tour did feel like a good platform racket and would need some weight to make it even better.

I currently use both the 2021 and 2023 gravity pro. I love the combination of power, spin, control, and feel. I would love to see how the Tour compares!

Did you sell them? Why did you sell them?
I end up playing/demoing almost every racket out there...I got these the same time as the Tec 305s, which I preferred. But ultimately I'm back with the Origins (after a brief detour with the EZ98 2025). It's a great racket (there's many great rackets these days). It was simply a question of personal preference.

Listen for the Gravity Tour grommet Whistle! It's a real thing!!!

Good luck to those taking part in the draw, I have always liked the feel from all the different Gravities I have had the chance to hit over the years.

I am not putting my name in the pool for this one, but if after the test is done anyone wants to trade for it, I would be happy to take one for an extended demo period.

I am not sure I would like the whistle sound. I guess we'll see if I am selected! I also worry about the sweet spot size compared to the gravity pro.

Put my electronic piece of paper into the hat just now. I look forward to comparing this Head frame (59ra) with the original N Blade 98 (58ra), the Yonex Vcore Pro HD (also 59ra), "and a pro-stock H22 27.25" length 58ra frame, if chosen. Good luck to all!

What did you prefer from the 305s over the gravity tour?

Basically everything, but only subtly so. 305s is a bit firmer, more direct feel, more control, less "full swing every time" dependent.

But we're talking a few percentage points difference. I could use either one without complaint.

But I really don't like the GT98 whistle!

Sound bothers me less than vibration overall

In the 200 page gravity 98 thread, two things unbelievably controversial were the sound and the spec. I gave up on that thread after a while. Would be fun to see what I actually experience with it.
Interesting. So was this something specific only to the 98 and not the 100?
