@TW Staff - In the first paragraph you mention "Please note that we only have one grip size available - grip size 2." In the form you mention "Grip Size (2 or 3): "

Could you clarify if Grip 3 are available?

The poll so far favors the 98...
The 98 is a hard segment to crack...
Comparisons to the competition will help us make judgement..

As a Prince devotee I so wish I could join in this play test; 4000+ posts - one or two of them were actually funny (imo anyway) - and six years should count for something, especially with Tennis Only open in Richmond (Melbourne) these days.

I am glad to see Prince getting back into the game with a variety of offerings. I also like the idea that the 98 Tour has a lower RA (62), which seems to be a tend as of late.
Not bad looking either!

Does anyone know how it might compare to a blade? That’s what I’m currently rocking, but I might need to beef up the V8 if I upgrade - and I like the feel of the old 95’s!

I hope Prince does well and become a major force in tennis again. The Tour line has always been great, both in playability & the softness in feel.

I've never played with the Tour line but own a 93P a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. It was easy on the arm for sure. Phantom line is really underrated.

Interesting to see the Textreme Tour 100P drop down so much in the poll. I enjoyed the very first generation of that racquet a lot (Hyper-G looked so sweet in it too).
I was also surprised by this.
I knew the 98 would be at the top as its brand new, but figured the two 100 models (P, 310) would be up there too.
Really surprised by the showing of interest in the 95, figured it'd remain single digits in the poll.

I feel most people who go 100 have something easier in mind. Babolats, yonex and etc. Also the 18x20 isn't a huge turn on for most US players. I personally don't mind it since I grew up on it but it's not longer my preference

yeah i just sold one.. this was my first prince so didn't know what to expect.. in short pros: its really similar to speed auxetic (in a good way) in that its super comfortable, muted and control oriented racket with solid feel. cons: didn't like the beam felt bit thicker and too boxy for my liking, swings easy but didn't feel whippy maybe due to this. I was directly comparing it to technifibre iga tempo 298, the beam is same 23mm but its more 'aerodynamic' and just feels thinner than PT98.

It would be great to be able to try all of these @ a Prince Demo Day at some local courts around the country! My preference s for the 98 but you never know which will really suit you till you try it. The colors are a must if you are a Dolphins fan!!

Prince has always been solid, but power on serve has been lacking in all the lines I've played.

I just bought a Babolat Pure Strike 98 with "Japan" cosmetics at TW and would love to hear how it compares with the softer Prince lineup. Babolat is one flashy and ugly racquet. Prince ATS Textreme Tour looks much better in photos.

Looking at the specs from this new Prince ATS Textreme family they seem to be differentiating themselves again. So many years after Prince revolutionized tennis with oversized racquets, and later a lineup of extended length racquets it seems the entire family of racquets has been updated with a softer kinder RA that is sure to cater to a larger audience of users. I am (a little) surprised that there is no extended length offering. Glad to see they are still innovating.

I'm not sure I would call lowering frames RA's is "innovating"...

I played Prince frames since 1988 until 2019 where I changed to the Head Gravity S due to a TW playtest. That was a great experience. I’d always played “player’s frames” until then. My Prince Monos were almost 13oz strung.

I’m interested in the 290.

It could be if all the people playing with stiff racquets turn to prince to cure their TE. It's like when retro clothing comes back into style 30 years later :-D . Could be a good alternative to the clash which is also a very good selling racquets despite having no pro endorse it. I took a small break from stiff racquets to let my forearm heal up a bit and I'm considering moving away from them all together now

I have just finished demoing the tour 98 with multi filament and loving it. I am interested in joining the play test to continue demoing the racquet with different string setups. Please include me in the play test if it's still possible. Thanks!
