What we look for in a playtester:

1) A user that is in good standing - no excess warnings on Talk Tennis
2) A user that is participating on the forum- we look for a participant that is actively participating/posting on the forum on a weekly basis and has at least 100 posts (although we do make exceptions)
3) A user that is participating in threads on the racquet forum and bonus points if it is in threads that are related to the racquet being playtested
4) Participation in a string playtest- we offer monthly string playtests that are much easier to get into. If you show great effort there, it will standout for the next racquet/shoe playtest
5) if you have playtested a racquet/shoe in the past- we look for good effort in the comments, turning in your review on time and actively participating in the thread throughout the playtest

We do try to spread the wealth, if you have participated in either a racquet/shoe playtest within the year, chances are you won't be selected for a racquet/shoe playtest (we do make an exception to the rule if we see a user that stands out, doesn't happen often). Each playtest contains a mix of users that haven't participated in a playtest before, users that haven't been selected in over a year and users that show exceptional effort in recent string playtests.

Very much looking forward to this release. Love the new PJ.

I’ve started playing my wife’s ATS Tour 290 on occasion in place of the Clash v3 for arm and shoulder health. Primary is still the Pure Strike. I hope the new Zylon doesn’t add too much stiffness and they maintain the great comfort with some added power.

SO pumped for these!!! Have been looking for a racquet that plays like my POG 90 but isn't super heavy haha. I'm so happy that these are a little livelier than last gen. Oak maining the last gen means I am incredibly hopeful about these!!!

oh-my-god-its-happening.gif

I have been waiting all year for this thread lol

I have owned 4 Prince tours in the past (from 95 to 98 to Tour 100 310 - a cult classic) I can’t wait to hear about what has changed. My current 98 is so precise and loaded with feel after I added lead. No other racquet like it. I have never tried a Prince 100P - I had the Phantom 100P and 100Pro and 100X - maybe thats the goldilocks version for me?

I still have and occasionally use the racket from the last playtest of this frame..... couple of years ago. I could string them up identically and report on the differences.....

(Yes I am doing the Tecnifibre Test too, but, I started my career with a metal 110 prince pro)

As an Ezone98 user the following things really appeal to me
1) tight string pattern of the Tour 98
2) CTS beam with the 20mm

Past CTS rackets like the Graduate 110 have been really enjoyable to play with as well.

Specs are similar but Prince has more SW at same balance and total spec (i realize I have used the last gen model for spec comparison but 2026 seems about the same to me)

2022 ATS Tour 98 is one of my five favorite racquets ever, and the 2019 Tour 100 310 would probably crack the top 10. I love this line so much. I've heard the 100P is magic, despite never trying it. 2026 PJ is absolutely SICK. Very much looking forward to trying these, playtest or not!!

Pick this guy, he needs another racquet to try
:-D
Just having some fun, love your work, curt

I've heard great things about the 100P too!

swing weight: 290

A good friend of mine from Dubai (Paul Espie) - taught me some stringing tips for free - swears by the Prince 100P. Especially, the 2019 Pouille 100P. But, I've never had the chance to try it.
I've played the
310 Tour 2019 with the O-Ports
310 Tour 2022 with the sick Hydrogen Tattoo cosmetics
ATS98 and still have one at-hand
Synergy 98
Vortex 300
I'm sure I'm forgeting 1 or 2 more

The 2015 Tour 95 has become my favorite because I've spent more time with (RS New York multifilament in the crosses is yummy).

After 1 year off tennis, I'm getting back into it again gradually. Despite the fact I hate stringing 18x20, I'd really like to play the 100P for Prince.

Applied for this one. Been eying these sticks since we started seeing previews and hearing details last year I think.

I used the ATS 98 since it first came out. Hoping they send my pre-orders instead of sending me a play test racquet. I've been waiting for this release forever. Early birthday present for me hehe

I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR THIS! I have the Japan 98 2023 edition and the 2022 US 98z. I also have the beast 100 2023 Japan Edition, and the recent Phantom 100x. I heard this version of the tour as per the podcast episode is similar in build and design, but the technology is better, updated, and geared towards more aggressive play? CMON PRINCE!!!!!

Lol i forgot I even have the Prince Ripstick 100 from 2025! Gahhh I LOVE PRINCE

For me, the user friendliness is up there with the Clash. But does not have a big drop in ball quality at all.

Yup. I used the Clash v1 and v3 for a couple years when hitting against a machine to maintain arm health. Since last summer, been using my wife’s ATS 290. The feel is obviously different but equally comfortable and a more reliable frame with multi’s.

Hoping to try the new 98, as a current user (carbon edition).

A purple toroline tour has been seen in the wild. I think expected late 2026.
May only be for the 95, but I think they may do it for additional models.

I demoed a couple of Prince frames not long ago, the green ones. They both hit really good. I was surprised as I don’t usually like Prince. The box break was incredibly nice.

Played Prince all through juniors and Phantom series when it came out. I've transitioned to more powerful frames, and these are interesting looking again. Looking forward to what folks are saying!

I definitely put in for this especially after watching Michelle's video with the ultimate guru from Prince this past week.
These frames sound very intriguing! A friend of mine has two Phantom Graphites that he got from Japan and they are absolutely beautiful racquets; he brought them over and we match them for balance, swingweight and weight; he loves them. They aren't available in the U.S. right now though so he had to get them from Japan.

I have the current O3 Phantom and I am interested in how the 2026 Tours compare.
I still have a 1st generation O3 Tour 110 in my collection .

Those Japan models are sweet!

I wondered the same. (thanks @ichaseballs for the graphic)

The new Tours seems to fit between my Phantom 100P and Ripstick 98, but with more direct feel. Something I randomly wish for during certain points in my game.

Is that chart for the new tours or the 2022 ones? If it's the 2022 ones then from the recent podcast sounds like their positions should be shifted down and to the right.

Hoping I can get in on this for the 100P. Been playing with the 2019 100P for a while mixed in with the ATS 100P and ATS 98 since its release. Hoping these fall between those 2 versions. Bummed we aren't getting the new 100 16x19 like Japan. Might have to get one sent over. I will say this new paint job is pretty sweet and the purple collab is also
