Tennis Warehouse playtest: Solinco MACH-10

Someone will try -
My friend had tried M10 main + Confidential cross, and he reported back the hybrid has less bite than full bed of M10. Anyway as all said the feeling can be personal.
My son tried M10 mains with Confidential crosses and liked it for several months, but decided that he wanted to enhance spin potential further and switched to TB mains with M10 crosses. No complaints from him on that switch. Spin was good with the M10/Confidential combo, but better with the TB/M10 combo. And in both cases, the edges of the strings did not dig into each other. Rather, the opposite; the edges seem to slide on each other. And in the case of the TB/M10 combo, the M10 counteracts a lot of the harshness inherent to TB.

I found the same using Mach 10 as a cross with Lynx Tour in the mains. It softens the string bed, and allows good string movement.

Yup. That was huge in my son’s ability to use Tour Bite mains. He has always loved TB, but his shoulder couldn't take the TB’s inherent harshness for extended periods. Problem solved with M10 crosses, plays like TB with none of the unfortunate side effects after two months of daily training with this combination.

Over 60 5.0 using M10 mains and biphase crosses in a Percept. Tried at least six different multis before choosing the biphase. Like fullbed M10, but sometimes feel it in my elbow and don't want to risk it.

Thinking of trying it with velocity

I'll likely revisit M10/HGR in a 2025 Ezone 100. I moved away from the 98, and I found that M10/HGR lost power pretty quickly after it died and became harsh, but perhaps in a more forgiving racket it won't be a bad thing. I only get 2 (possibly 3) sessions before Christmas though, so I can't comment on the long-term effects for a while.

Anyone tried M10 on the Boom MP 2026?
Yes, I was doing m10 main and ghostwire cross. Comfortable but I had some difficulties controlling when I was trying to be agressive with my topspin. Maybe next time I'll string higher than 47/45 lbs. Currently liking restring slap main and sync cross at 45/43. I tried zero with sync too but I found it a bit too uncomfortable. Same with polytour rev. Any cross with multi on the boom mp 2026 didn't wiej for me. Didn't have that problem with m previous 2023 vcore 98 which I strybg mainly with m10 and ghostwire but occasionally put a multi in the cross when my elbow was bothering me.
